Parking was limited around the property and the front desk kept telling me it was ok to park in the lots nearby even though signage said you couldn't. My room had one tiny pillow and I really had to push the front desk to get another. The bathroom door automatically shut making it always swampy . The AC almost never turned on and the fan couldn't be operated separately from the AC.

Mixed Opinion
Overall one night stop over stay was good. Hotel is clean and modern with a grocery store convenient located in front. However good signage would help as we just come off a huge roundabout and there are so many structures blocking the view of the hotel from the road that one is not sure where to enter to reach the hotel. Also, we had problem using the keypass to get from our level to the lobby. Our friend managed to get from her floor to the lobby and asked for help. Receptionist kept insisting for us to just push the button. Receptionist was closed to impolite to my friend. Another receptionist came to our floor to help. We then realised that we were using our key pass for the service lift. This is where the problem when there was no indication that it is a service lift. When we just checked in, we cannot be expected to remember to turn left or right when exiting our room. We felt bad that we had used our key pass on the wrong elevator but it would help if the first receptionist was more helpful and a good sign be out on the service life to say its not meant for guests.

Für den Preis, würde ich sicherlich nochmals bei Ibis Style Konstanz reservieren. Das hotel ist tops 10 min mit dem Verkehrsmittel zum Zentrum entfernt. Sehr praktisch.

Nice hotel. Our room was large (two sleeping areas that could be divided). The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good but not great. Definitely worth it.

Overall a good stay
Hotel is situated just outside of Konstanz. There’s a bus stop close by and you can use the bus with your guest card for free. Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast selection was very good. Unfortunately our mattress had clearly been used for too long, so the bed wasn’t terrible comfortable.

Conveniently located. The hotel provided bus tickets that was good for 3 days so we were able to travel around. Bus stop is around 150 meters away from the hotel.

Hotel was very good for the price, rooms and common areas looks brand new. Parking needs sorting out, it gets full and then there are no realistic options nearby. They also seem to sometimes mark the parking as full (which makes you unable to enter the car park) when it was not - when I alerted them to this, they were able to 'unmark it' and I could then enter and park.

Dear valued guest, thank you for the great review. In regards to the parking: The count gets irritated when motorbikers take 1 ticket, but enter with 5 bikes at a time (to save money). This is what irritates the count. Sometimes we do not realize it right away, but we are very happy when nice guest, like yourself, alert us so we can take care of the issue. The hotel was extremely clean and tidy, something my partner and I always look out for. The staff was also helpful whenever I had any questions regarding public transport or even breakfast times. The location was also quite good - right next to a major intersection leading downtown or towards Switzerland. There is a bus stop right around the corner, with two busses that took us directly to the city center - which was free for hotel guests!

Stay in the 'burbs
Good hotel if a bit pricey although didn't do any price comparison locally. Facilities well considered. Good buffet breakfast. Quiet area for room on side away from main bypass. Handy to buses (they give you a bus card so it's free) & there's a supermarket next door. Only downside is television local with few English channels only news-based.

Great value hotel!
The hotel was very nice and well kept. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was also good, there was even a lady going around with treats for the kids (could be more healthy choices here though honestly)! The location is not very central, but Constance is easily reachable in under 10 minutes with a bus that stops about 100m away from the hotel. All in all it was a very comfortable, nice hotel and my family and I had a very nice stay.

Clean, safe and quiet, but uncomfortable bed
Hotel very clean and extremely quiet, with a spacious room, but the bed was terribly uncomfortable so we could not sleep well. The shower also sends water onto the bathroom floor and the kitchen has no cooking supplies unless you pay an additional 9 euros. So, a mixed experience.

Car park location but brand new
Ok, so location isn’t necessarily a selling point for this hotel. It’s in front of an Aldi supermarket, there’s a casino, a Chinese restaurant and even a Burger King round the corner. All of this off a main road (you can’t hear it in the hotel) and a car park - which you can’t use as it belongs to Aldi. On the other hand, it’s super convenient. It’s only a 10 minute direct bus ride to the main station in Konstanz and the port. The hotel is brand new. It’s clean and modern. The bathrooms in the family rooms are rather small; more appropriate for a single bedroom. But there’s a kitchen with a fridge which is not available in double or single rooms. Breakfast serves fresh fruit and a good selection of foods. Coffee machines dispense half decent coffee.

Nice for a short stay
Parking the car was the most annoying thing about this hotel. There are about 10 spaces for free at the front of the hotel, and if these are full then you have to pay €8 a day to park in the underground garage. I think this is ridiculous given that some people get to park for free. Either charge all spaces, or make all spaces free. It’s not fair that some people got away with paying nothing for parking their whole stay and we had to pay for 3 nights parking. I strongly urge management to look into this. Staff were amazing. Really friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to help all guests. Security is also really very good and I was impressed with this. Breakfast was basic but there was plenty there and we never had to ask for anything to be refilled. There a nice lounge area and bar. The bus stop is also a 2 minute walk away that goes straight into town so that was very handy. The room was very clean. Overall good apart from the parking.

This Ibis Styles is a rather bland hotel. Ask for a room on the street side because there is a noisy night-club somewhere on the parking-lot side. My double room was clean but pretty bland. The WiFi works well. The bed is firm and the bathroom functional. No sample lotion or such: just a liquid soap dispenser on the wall. Service is neither too friendly nor too hostile. The self-serve breakfast is ok but not memorable, and the breakfast area can be really crowded. But the hotel is in a totally uninteresting part of town. The most appealing feature around is the bus stop. The bus does not run very often, but will take you downtown (main train station) for €2.40. If you know the way, the walk takes about 30 min but through uninteresting neighborhoods. All of this makes one wonder why a room costs upward of €140? The experience is hardly worth half that price.

Die Fenster sind schallschutzisoliert und das Klima im Raum kann über die Temperaturregulierung den eigenen Bedürfnissen angepasst werden. Somit dringt kein Lärm von außen in das Zimmer und lässt sie damit zu einer ruhigen und erholsamen Nacht finden. Schade, dass Sie uns nicht genau benennen, was Ihnen beim Frühstück gefehlt hat, denn nur so haben wir die Möglichkeit, uns zu verbessern. Wir können Ihnen sagen, dass wir unser Obst und Gemüse ausschließlich von der Insel Reichenau beziehen. Frische und Qualität stehen auf der Insel Reichenau im absoluten Vordergrund! Die Wurst- und Käseauswahl ist qualitativ hochwertig, es gibt eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Brötchen, es gibt Brot, Zwieback, Knäckebrot, Croissants, verschiedene Joghurtsorten, verschiedene Cerealien, verschiedene Körner, Kaffee- und Teespezialitäten, Milch und Kakao, Apfel- und Orangensaft, Nutella, verschiedene Marmeladen, Rührei und Brotzeiteier - und es ist zudem auch an vegetarische Gäste gedacht worden. Cheap, clean and pretty convenient location
Seems brand new. Everything up to snuff. The location is in an industrial park which helps keep the price down. Bus stop is just a two minute walk. Don't miss the restaurant Tolle Knolle while in town!

Nice hotel, very modern , eclectic decor.
I booked a room for 4. The bed in the bedroom was comfy but the other bed is a pull out w/ was very uncomfortable,The mattress was sagging and thin. Overall, our experience was good. Free buffet breakfast was a big plus..

Nice hotel
We stayed two nights here. The hotel is very clean and has a cute sea décor. Breakfast was a large variety where everyone could find something pleasing. Our room was spacious and very clean.

Hotels. Com sold us a room type that wasn't even available. After checking in we found the rooms didn't fit our needs. Ecause they were not what we paid for( a dbl and 2 twin beds). The front desk apologized, found that hotels.com was offering the wrong room and gave us an additional room at no charge to accommodate our party of 5 adults. Breakfast was great, there is an Aldi in the parking lot so you can buy food and drinks if you have a family suite.

Disappointing
We chose to pay the additional price to stay at the Ibis Styles property, although their discount property was adjoining. Upon check-in, we were told that the rooms at Styles were "more spacious" than their discount property. The room was in fact rather small, and that bathroom was very small. The thermostat in the room did not work, so we had no choice but to open the window to cool the room off. Little did we know that there is a nightclub adjacent to this hotel, and we were woken up several times during the night to the sounds of people yelling, horns honking, etc. Even after we closed the window, we were again woken up at 7:30 am by the sound of a grounds crew operating loud machinery. We shared this with the front desk staff upon checkout, and were told that they have been having ongoing problems with the nightclub. If this was the case, then why put people in a room that is close to the nightclub? The only remedy offered was a "sorry".

This seems ot be a newish hotel and modern deco. The hotel itself is ok but the parking is extra . For the price of the room they should include parking !

Dear guest, thank you for your positive feedback. We supply 16 parking spaces for free in front of our hotel. There are also several possibilities nearby the hotel, where you don´t have to pay. Nevertheless in case our guests would like to park their car safe, we offer our underground garage at the price of € 8.10 for the whole day or € 0.90/ hour. The underground garage is clean and safe, during the winter time you don´t have to free your car from snow and in the summer time the car is kept cool. Hotel is fine, but a little out of the way
This particular Ibis is much like the others in the chain. The room was clean (I received a room upgrade, so it was quite large with a sitting room separate from the bedroom) and relatively comfortable. The hotel has a bar and ample parking. The neighborhood is in a rather industrial area, about 2 km from downtown. The restaurant choices to walk to area Burger King and a Chinese Restaurant, so, not much within walking distance. If you are looking for an easy access, quiet and no frills option, this is it.

Overnight stop over
We arrived around 9.45pm so there was only one receptionist who was also covering the bar. It was rather busy at the bar so the receptionist was multi tasking with check in at the same time. It was all rather rushed and impersonal. However the hotel has already responded to us and the rest of the hotel was great all round.

At 22.30 pm we reduce our team to two employees as most of our guests are already checked in. We do not know why our employee had to work on his own on that specific day - we try to find it out and will definitely improve the situation. 3 night stay at hotel ibis constance
We stayed are at this hotel for 3 nights.It is a little out of town so you need a car...only one local restaurant 10 mins walking distance on banks of the Rhine. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is adequate. The room was clean modern and spacious. Parking is a problem as only a few spare places...and if you go in the hotel carpark you have to pay 8 euros a day. Otherwise this hotel is good value for money.

Three night stay
Great stay at this hotel, newer, very clean. Room was somewhat sparsely furnished but alright for a short stay. Good breakfast and sitting on the Terrace for breakfast was very nice. Only have two negative comments to make: First, free parking availability is limited to what? Maybe 10 cars and definitely not enough. Underground parking for $ 8.50 overnight is a bit steep and a put-off. Secondly, the internet went out in the evening before our departure the next morning and never went back on. This cost us a lot of time and inconvenience as we needed to look up some information but were not able too, also needed to do some business related emails which were timely, a frustrating thing to happen. Yes, such can occur, but from 10:00 pm until check-out time at noon and still not back up? Such should not happen.

Unfortunately we had W-Lan problems during your stay and we deeply regret the inconvenience you had caused by this technical defect. We offer up to 16 parking spaces for free, which are placed directly in front of our hotel, including two parking spaces for handicapped people. Nevertheless we offer an underground parking for € 8.10/ day of € 0.90/ hour. We hope you understand that we have to keep the underground garage clean and safe, that is the only reason why we have to charge a small fee for the use. Nice though not luxurious
The Hotel is a bit remote from the old city, but was convenient for us because of an event we attended. The room is spartan but clean and nicely decorated. The hotel should have more amenities available upon request, such an an iron that we could get.

Great but don't spill a drink
Great time at this hotel, perfect for the four of us, given a family room which was a suite with a sofa bed and a sliding door to seperate the rooms, so much better than two adjoining rooms. Easy for Lake Constance, we got the train but could easily have got the bus. Hotel was new, comfortable and good breakfast. Only downsides were, parking was 9 euros and also kids were given a free cocktail each, we were moved to the lounge and the drinks were knocked over. Staff seemed very annoyed at a genuine accident and we were given one replacement drink with two straws, this totally took the edge of our great experience.
