Lovey hotel within walking distance of the old town, the port and rail and bus stations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Delicious varied continental breakfast with complimentary coffee daily. We definitely will be back to the Occidental Alicante.

This hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the train station, the bus station, the Mercado, downtown shopping and the lovely sea-side walk. The area is active at night with locals & tourists - it feels safe. It is close to historic sites too.

Good value weekend.

Good value for a cheap weekend. Staff were nice and room was clean. Only downside is no kettle in the room which is a pain. However free coffee downstairs at reception but not during breakfast and only the one machine. The location is good, right in the centre. Airport bus stop almost directly across the road.

Great spot

Spent a long weekend here. In a great spot for the hustle and bustle of city life. Hotel itself well presented. Rooms basic but comfortable. Only problem was the smell of drains in bathroom was horrendous but we didn’t complain as couldn’t be bothered to move rooms. Would stop again for the price. Think premier inn or travel lodge

Super comfort

Super, comfortable hotel in great, central location. Huge bed, lovely bedding and pillows, quality towels and amenities. Coffee machine and kettle with lots of coffee and tea.

Modern hotel with good amenities and well located

Reasonably pricedModern hotel with good amenities in excellent location at the edge of the historic quarter and with tram and bus stops in close proximity. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed ,toilet and shower good Buffet breakfast had comprehensive choice(yummy scrambled eggs) However my room on 2nd floor at front of building subjected to loud and intrusive noise from traffic and revellers for most of the night(Christmas time ) Overall would recommend

I was surprised how small the room was but as a solo traveler it was fit for purpose. On the plus side I did have a terrace with seat and a table. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard which I was happy with. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices and a glass of cava which was a nice treat. Excellent position for shopping, restaurants and the beach, Thank you very much for a lovely service and hospitality.
