We had a good stay at Hotel Kurrika. Staff is limited but friendly. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good. The hotel is need of some upgrades: the rooms are not very sound proof-another lodger came in at 2AM two nights in a row and the noise (just from normal stuff not loud music or anything) woke us up, (2) shower is very, very small and no shampoo/conditioner provided, (3) sewer odor emanates from the extremely small shower drain and once I put a towel over it the odor stopped. We could walk easily to downtown Kurrika and a short to drive Jallasjarvi where we were visiting. It was a good visit. This hotel has potential to move up the rating scale if they spend a little money upgrading the rooms and plumbing.

Parking is perfect, only a few metres from the Reception. There is an inclusive buffet in the evening, light salad and two hot dishes with vegetables, perfect light healthy meal. Didn't get chance to try the breakfast as I left too early. It's 12 mins from the Airport which opens at 04:30,

A bit thick air and high humidity in the room. Difficult to sleep. Everything else was worth of money.

Remote location with odd feeling
Great location, but overall the hotel was very quiet in the middle of the most hectic holiday season. We only saw one personnel as a staff and she handled everything from reception to breakfast. There was only one other couple during our stay and this created quite odd feeling. Someone might like ...
