Located at the narrowest point of the isthmus on the sunny island of Usedom between the Baltic Sea beach and the Achterwasser, Koserow is not one of the imperial spas, but one of the so-called Usedom amber spas. You can hike for miles on the endless fine sandy beach or simply enjoy the sun and the beach. At around 58 meters, the Streckelsberg near Koserow is a worthwhile excursion destination with extensive hiking trails and beautiful viewpoints in the Bürgerpark and Kurpark. Karl's Adventure Village, the nearby imperial spas and the Polish town of Swinemünde are also worthwhile excursion destinations.
