Comfortable place, if somewhat outdated. Close to a busy road. Would probably opt for a hotel in the city center next time. The hotel is fine, but 5* (as it is advertized) is quite a stretch.

Warm welcome
Nice clean hotel with a great resturant. The reception gave us a warm welcome and was good to provide information about the city. Breakfast was excellent!

Comfortable but not convenient!
Arriving late we did not get a particularly friendly welcome from the front desk chap. Our room was nice but during the night/early morning we were woken by the smell of smoke and people chatting outside, this was due to the casino customers. We asked to be moved the next morning and they obliged, putting us in the disabled room! It was very clean and comfortable but the traffic noise, main road outside, and some smell of smoke still found its way in the room. The breakfast was full of "Polish" offerings, which was nice, but a couple of people commented that salad for breakfast was not their choice! The casino was a novelty initially - first free drink and 50% off second, but the smoke soon put us off. We love walking so the distance, 6km from the city sights, wasn't a problem for us, but after a long day in the heat/rain, a taxi would be most peoples option. The cleanliness and comfortable beds ticked all the boxes, so too the restaurant staff, but the staff on the desk could have been a little more friendly.

Magical Stay in Krakow
My wife and I visited Poland for 2 weeks this September (2016). One of our stops was Krakow, where we stayed for 5 days in this beautiful hotel (Kosciuszko). The hotel was immaculate. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, accommodations were exquisite (our room was incredible and featured the softest and most comfortable bed in Poland), A++++ food (world class-best food I have ever had at a hotel), a casino downstairs, and was a mere 10 minutes away from Old Town. THIS is the place to stay in Krakow.

Krakow short break
This was our second stay at the Hotel Kosciuszko. The location although not central, is only a 10min walk to the nearest tram stop, but far enough away from the throngs of stagg/hen groups that seem to have invaded Krakow in recent years. We would recommend booking one of the rooms to the rear of the hotel as these are much quieter and avoid the noise of the busy road to the front of the hotel.

Family Birthday Celebration - Krakow
Great boutique hotel at a reasonable price. Very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We celebrated a friends 70th Birthday in the restaurant. The meal was terrific with great attention to detail by the kitchen and waiting-on staff. The hotel is situated next to a busy junction on the main city ring road. As such rooms at the rear of the hotel do experience some road noise - notably between the main commuting periods. The taxi booked by the hotel for the return trip back to the hotel was significantly (i.e. one third) more expensive than the "official" airport taxi service so would recommend booking this independently.

Elegant mini-palace
This was an elegant, quaint and wonderful hotel. The breakfast was a five star with attention to detail and excellence. The presentation of the free morning buffet was gorgeous. In addition to the free parking, this was an absolute bargain. It was just minutes to the City Center via cab for $7 each way. We also drove to the City Center but parking was hard to find. We had considered staying in the City Center area but the high cost of parking and unavability of parking spaces just wasn't a financially good idea. Then factor in the high class free buffet makes this my only choice for future trips back to Krakow.

Nice hotel but it's not 5 star
This hotel is 5* rated, don't know why. It's a small boutique hotel, and should at most be rated at most 4* eclectic. It does not offer the amenities of a typical 5*. The AC did not work on the day of our stay, other rooms we were offered also didn't have working AC. We had to leave windows open at night and didn't get much sleep as the hotel is located next to a busy motorway. We won't be staying there again.

Krakow's best kept secret
The perfect hotel for the perfect city. Hotel Kosciuszko is located just 10-15 minutes from Krakow's downtown, and whether you use a cab or the tram, it is easy and affordable to get to the hotel. The attention is superb, always friendly, and you can count on them to explain/solve each and every need that you might have. A plus is the restaurant, with traditional "polska" dishes that will delight you.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are a decent size However there is no bar there is no TV (apart from the news), the internet is free quite a way out of the main square and you have to order a taxi to take you there as there is no public transport

Walk to the Tram Vacation
Lovely small hotel that serves a great breakfast and a truly suburb dinner. If you like to walk, it's a great place to stay because you need to walk 10 minutes to the tram to get to the sights in the town center. Staff was extremely helpful in planning the stay.

What a small 5star hotel should be.
The place is perfect. Whoever designed the rooms thought of everything. All amenities are there in a room that is not very large but never feels cramped due to the clever lay out. The restaurant, including breakfast is great, and the staff could not be nicer. The location is a little remote, but a cab to the center of town is about 6 Euro, so no big deal. Unlike many 5 star hotels, this one truly deserves the rating.

Lovely, friendly staff. Nice spacious rooms with mini bar, hot drinks facilities, tv and bath & shower in bathroom. There is also a lift so no carrying cases up the stairs. Fabulous breakfast (we didn't get opportunity to sample evening menu due to a very delayed flight). If I am going to say anything negative, it's that there is a casino downstairs - which is a separate entity to the hotel but the smell of cigarette smoke from which is evident in the reception and hallways, but not the rooms or the restaurant. Also the location is a little bit strange, down a residential road- it's not obvious but luckily our hired satnav took us straight there. It is necessary to travel either by car or taxi from the airport, but it only took 10 mins max to get there. There is a busy road near the hotel but we could not hear it with the window closed. We were not wanting to go into Krakow the next day, so the location was handy for us to get straight onto the motorway, although I believe it is not too far from the city, however I felt a car/ taxi would be necessary for getting to and from Krakow centre.

Comfortable and affordable
This hotel is a great deal for Krakow. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and all the workers were very pleasant and helpful. It is a little out of the way from Old Town (2 miles), but taxies are available and there is a tram nearby. We took the opportunity to walk and enjoyed it.

Good Place to Stay
Not too far from town, yet it has the feel of a country side. The hotel staff, especially the waitress I had for the two brekfasts I had there was superb. The first day, she waited on me herself, and I was extremly impressed, the next day there was what look like young trainee, who waited on, but she was doing and excellent supervisory role, she watched him like a hawk and made sure that he was not cutting any corners or omitting any detail.

Nice Place But Far Away From Everything
Room was quiet, clean and spacious. Front Desk Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel, however, was located away from the downtown area. It was a 15 minute walk to the tram and then another 12 minutes tram ride to reach the train station. It was 30 zl by taxi from the train station due to traffic.

Well the two of us arrived to be met by a smiling receptionist who spoke great english. Really welcomming offering free maps and information. They allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and then gave us a free upgrade to the 'penthouse suite'. Beautiful room and so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the gent who greated us offered to cook us hot food such as eggs to accompany the excellent spread. Good choice of cheese, pastries, sausage, bacon and fruit. The list goes on. The hotel has a casino below and we never heard a peep all stay. The only downfall I the long taxi ride but please don't be put off as I would not stay anywhere else. A taxi from the center is 35zl. Which is less than £10. All in all the hotel is beautiful, the staff are really welcoming and helpful and it helped made our trip perfect. Thank you so much
