"Best stay ever!!!!! The views are absolutely insane, the beach is right in the backyard and the water is incredible. The host was so so kind and even brought us an entire tv when we asked about it?!? The guest house was so nice to have, we had a huge group of girls and they all raved about the house and how much they loved their rooms. The kitchen is massive with two refrigerators and there are two laundry sites as well. There were two outdoor showers too which was so nice and everywhere we looked it was just beautiful. We couldn’t have picked a better stay and we hope to come back!!"
Breathtaking Ocean Views Beach Cottage

"The good - These little cottages are spectacular! It's cozy and can work for a small family. There are plenty of pillows, comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and even beach toys. They are very clean. It's steps from the ocean, and it's quiet. It is paradise and is very appealing if you want to enjoy Hawaii, but not an overly commercialized vacay. What could be improved - The exteriors of the cottages could use some repairs/ fresh paint/ updated windows to allow the breeze to flow inside better. The ugly - You are in a community next to an apartment/ condo with neighbors. 97% of the people in the community are wonderful, quiet, respectful, and chill. One of our neighbours was a Karen; she was policing chairs on the property. Every interaction with her was migraine-inducing. I recognize neighbors / fellow travellers are a wild card, and for every Karen, there are 20 people that are kind and warm. Something to be aware of is that while it is very secluded, you are still in a community residence. The surrounding community was welcoming and had a convenient shop nearby, great restaurants and food trucks, and a beautiful farm that has been cared for by a family for four generations. The beach is gorgeous, the sunrises are life-changing. Staying here is like living in paradise."

"The location of this condo is great with the ground floor access to a large grassy area right in front of the beach. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. However, the bedroom has only one window which opens to the street side. It’s located right beside the elevator and lock boxes so it was very noisy with people talking during the night. The bedroom doesn’t cool down sufficiently with the ceiling fan which necessitates leaving the window open. Arrangements for parking during construction were inadequate."

"For us, the property was good. The location was great for what we wanted to do: see the whole island. Otherwise, it might be a drive for those who want the beach or Honolulu every day, but not a bad drive. The property was clean. We did have a few problems with bugs on the kitchen countertop, so we learned to put all of the food in the refrigerator. If you are thinking of walking to the beach, that will not work. It is a residential area, so expect the neighbors to be getting up early for work. I did not need the air conditioner in the main bedroom because the breeze came in all day. In the second bedroom, you definitely need the air conditioner. We were out all day and really just slept there at night, so I can't tell you what it was like during the day. We didn't use the patio, which is shared with the owner. Parking in the driveway is helpful because the street is full of cars."
Kaaawa Home With Mountain View’s - 30 Day Min

"The house rental was a great find. It’s nestled right at the foot of the mountains yet just four minutes to the Kamehameha highway, and about 40 minutes into Waikiki. It was very clean though a little worn in places. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, but no dishwasher or food waste disposal. There is one bathroom with a smallish shower. The living room is open and bright, with extra large windows looking over the back yard. It is well-cooled if you happen to visit in the hotter months (mini-splits in four rooms). This is not a super fancy place, it’s just comfortable. Good find. Nice people, too!"

"Tempy met me at the door even though I arrived late in the evening. I was delighted to see my new home for a few weeks as it was so clean and tidy. Fresh everything and spotless bathroom and kitchen. Very comfortable with views of our private beach right out our back entrance. I couldn’t have been more pleased and can’t wait until I return. Oh and Tempy left a welcoming gift of fresh fruit and assorted candies and drinks. "
