Wendorf is only a few kilometres away from Schwerin. Surrounded by the charming landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District, you have the opportunity to discover art and culture in the state capital as well as actively explore the marvellous natural landscapes. There is a wide range of options for young and old: educational playgrounds, water sports on the castle lake, castle herd of grey horses and walk-in fallow deer enclosure, bike hire and outdoor sports equipment, riding courses for all ages and levels, pony rides for the little ones, carriage rides & horseback rides in the beautiful countryside, Trakehner riding and breeding horses and an extensive wellness offer with various packages.
