Leave your shoes at the door because this is your Barefoot Bungalow at Kure Beach! This beautifully mid-century craftsman style cottage is a unique find - the residential neighborhood offers a slice of suburbia with a location just off K Avenue literally only 6 blocks west of downtown Kure Beach's quaint shops, restaurants, oceanfront pier, and welcoming sandy shores! Use the beach cart and beach items provided and walk over to the beach ! And when you just want to stay in and relax, this gorgeous home offers a wonderfully relaxing style with furnishings and areas designed to help you wind down! The main entry opens into the modern great room with an open style living, dining, and kitchen area - down the hallway are bedrooms and baths.
Outside, take in the surrounding views and ocean breezes from the front porch, front yard sitting area, or the the wood plank open deck areas in the privacy-fenced back yard!

There are 2 outdoor cameras, they face the walk up to the front of the house, as well as face the car park.

Perfect little cottage!

We found this house to be very clean and located at a convenient location from the beach and restaurants. We parked the car and walked the entire weekend. The house was stocked with all supplies needed for stress free and relaxing time away!

Tidy and adorable spot just a few blocks from the Kure Beach Pier. Easy walk to the beach and several dining spots. Check in and out were seamless. The only drawback was the small amenities were in a bit of neglect (example: none of the battery powered games worked and neither did a Roku remote). But these were small things we could have addressed, so still rating this stay 10/10.

This house is beautifully decorated and clean. It’s much larger in person than it appears in the photos. The location was perfect for our trip. I would highly recommend this property with one caveat…the master bath doesn’t have a door, just a sheer curtain. This was very awkward and something to keep in mind if you are considering renting and like privacy. Other than this, the house was perfect!

Beautiful home, minutes from the beach

The Barefoot Bungalow was beautiful. The house was spacious, well cared for, and literal minutes (walking) from the beach. Really couldn't have asked for anything better.
