"This was a pleasant hotel once we found it! If you put in Simonosekiosakaya into any maps or uber app to get a taxi it does not recognise it. The name of the hotel is Osakaya so please use that when searching- although that also did not work on some apps so we had to find it on the map ourselves. This spoilt our first day and we wasted nearly an hour!

"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. I was very unimpressed by their business ethics...

"人数変更をしましたが、即時ご対応いただけてありがたかったです。三世代大人七名、幼児一名でゆっくりくつろげました。生ビールサーバーとアイスクリームマシンがフロントに備えてあるのは好感度大でした（午前中には生ビールサーバーは閉じてありますが）。また伺いたいと思います。星5つをつけたかったのですが、今後の期待をこめて4つとさせていただきました（Expediaのお問い合わせフォームからのやりとりがちょっとうまくいかなかったので……）。"
