"Very beautiful setting. Small property run by a warm, friendly and accommodating couple who run it entirely by themselves. Clean, spacious, simple and modern accommodation in motel-style rooms overlooking the loch with some facilities to self-cater or you can eat in their small Inn next door (we did the latter. It only seats 12 so booking is essential, all in the conservatory with the lovely loch to look at). The menu is limited (understandably) but there are some pub favourites on there, burgers, chilli etc. You can also get a good hot breakfast with various options in the Inn. Quite reasonable compared to other establishments in the area. Located just off the NC500 route. You're staying on a remote Scottish loch so pack your midgie spray! "

"What a wonderful stay in a beautiful, comfortable bungalow. Everything in the house was of a high standard and it was a splendid base from which we could explore the area on foot or by car. Mairi and Willie were delightful and attentive hosts. We appreciated being able to get super fresh prawns from Willie and having a well stocked shop literally across the road was really helpful. On two evenings we also had three red deer in the garden who departed when the cameras/ phones came out as we watched from the lounge! Comfortable, warm and plenty to do and see, in spite of not being able to get to Handa or Cape Wrath due to ferries being off but did the Sandwood Bay walk- a long wished for destination. Highly recommended .. and thank you"

"Paul met us at the property and talked us through all the cottages features and discussed the local area. Cottage was immaculate and spotless. Very comfortable beds and a great nights sleep. If you are doing the NC500, then this is a perfect stopover and very tranquil. Would highly recommend."

Staff attention/breakfast service could’ve been better, a bit shambolic; tea no milk, toast no butter, quite basic points but fell short of expectations given the price of rooms and quality in other aspects "
