"Avoid this hotel at all costs. Seriously—do not stay here. This place is a complete disaster. The staff is useless and completely unresponsive. The so-called “HQ” phone number doesn’t even connect you to the right person, which tells you everything about how badly this place is run. The kitchenette and washer are absolutely unusable—clearly no maintenance is being done at all. The entire property feels neglected and poorly managed. I booked for five days and couldn’t even last past the second day. They have zero system for handling cancellations or complaints. No manager, no accountability, no support—just chaos. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Everything else is a joke."

"Very unique interior. We stayed in one of their corner suites. The bath tub leaked although we didn’t use it. Other than that, the room was beautiful and staffs were very friendly and polite. San (forgive me if I got his name wrong. He has British accent) at the concierge desk was amazing. He answered my questions in details and made excellent recommendations. We will definitely stay here again. Lobby cafe has brunch available from 11am. Their breakfast buffet is good too. "

"Tokyo style hotel in Seoul. Positive: Very clean for the price. Negative: Lacks amenities. Mitigant: Buy your own toothbrush, toothpaste, beer, beer food. The front desk person will tell you to buy from the vending machine, but choices and prices are limited. I bought tooth paste & brush there, but for beer & some nuts, I went around the block to a convenience store instead. To me this Toyoku was excellent, hence I leave a review, because I value cleanliness above all. I don’t sleep well if it looks or smells bad, but I slept better than last place. For this price, in Gangnam, it’s very clean, hence, one of the best in value."

"We did not have breakfast. Airconditioning was not setup, so the room was warm because of the regulated heater temp. Staff were excellent. Cleanliness was up to par. It is a no frills hotel. Room was spacious and was very clean which matters to us. Location was near Line 9, very accessible. Will book again. "

"You can’t find a better hotel than this! Everything down to the detail decor, staff service, intimate retreats in every corner of this hotel is astounding. The laundry service, Bekitts eatery, morning breakfast at Poissions! The gym and pool amazing! Free yoga on weekends! The flowers, lighting all around intimate and subtle! Andy Moon and Mr Kyle had time for conversation as if old friends! There is no deciding!! Book here! It’s above and beyond all the other hotels! We booked the 2 level top floor! Worth every penny!"
