Great location, many bus route options to and from core areas like Arashiyama and Gion (1min walk from the hotel onto the main road). Right beside a convenience store. Right across the street from a grocery store. Main Street beside the hotel is one of the main shopping strips that connects Nishiki Market. Be aware no outside food to be eaten in the lobby. Base room includes a wall bench short table and stool where we’d enjoy small meals.

The staff were very helpful with absolutely everything. Rooms were great. The location of this Hotel was also very convenient, being close to many historical sites. Loved my stay and hope to come back next time.

It was everything very good. Walking distance to mein street was 5 to 10 minutes. The breakfast is very Japanish for us. We were missing good bread and fruits. Their bread was not good!

Very Convenient Location

This hotel is not very old, so it presents really well. Reception were very helpful. I was leaving for country Japan, so had my large bag taken to Tokyo. Such a great service! The location was excellent too!

This hotel should be rated 5star. It is impeccably clean. The staff are so caring and helpful. The bento box breakfast as great. Great location to everything! This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I have travelled the world and stayed in many! Great value for the luxury experience you are getting

This hotel is very clean. It is a newer hotel that is tastefully designed in Japanese aesthetics. They have used high end materials throughout and the shower and Toto toilet are exceptional quality. All this for a low to medium price. Great value.

It’s a spacious room exactly as same as the photos I have seen. Good service and polite provided by staff. Excellent bath tub and mini garden view which placed in the middle of the room, super nice and relax! Highly recommend if anyone of you are planning go Kyoto. I will stay more than a night next time!

A great little hotel in the center of Kyoto walking distance to most of the downtown attractions and endless number of restaurants. The staff is very professional, friendly and efficient. The rooms are small with a frosted window looking into the 2 ft space between buildings. However given the price , the location and the high quality of the rooms, furnishing and state of repair, this hotel is a great place to stay. The full set breakfast included was very different than what we usually eat for breakfast but all very good: fruit salad, croissant, eggs, bacon, chicken, fish seaweed, meat balls, potatoes, and salad!
