Chiyo Shizukaan is located on the west side of the Shirakawa River, right in the heart of Kyoto’s sightseeing area. Famous landmarks such as Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Chion-in, Kiyomizu-dera, Sanjusangendo, Heian Shrine, Ginkaku-ji, Nanzen-ji, and Eikan-do are all within easy reach.
The nearest bus stop “Higashiyama Sanjo,” Higashiyama Subway Station, and Keihan Sanjo Station are all about an 8-minute walk away. The neighborhood also offers 24-hour convenience stores, shopping streets, and coin laundries, making it a great choice for longer stays.
