Front staff did a kind thing. We came early so they held our luggage then put in our room after 3 pm. We came back and our luggage was I. Room! Not huge rooms and has dangerous step off out of washroom. I would highly recommend for the price and location, as well as excellent staff

Traveled with family. The room was small, which I figured so we got two rooms for the 4 of us. The bed was really hard. The room’s ceiling was peeling a bit. The location was great though and a reasonable price, even for 2 rooms

We only stayed one night at this Hotel. I dont have any complaints. Everything was fine not the fanciest hotel I've stayed at but not bad. It was a little bit small and there wasn't a view with my room. With the price is paid for a night 40,000 yen i guess i expected a bit more, maybe a view. The breakfast was decent all you can eat for 2,000 yen. The staff was great and very helpful.

Not recommended for triple sharing

The hotel name is a bit misleading. It was not connected or even next to the Kyoto Tower Hotel. Location wise is not too far from Kyoto Station. The hotel provides a full range of amenities at the lobby. We booked a room for 3 adults but what we got was essentially a doble room with a third bed. So it was really cramped. Even the toilet is miniscule.

Easy solo stay near Kyoto Sta.

Overall very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the shower curtain had a strong smell of mildew and should be replaced. Otherwise, it had everything I need. Toiletries are provided in the lobby and the beds and bathtub are comfortable. Very easy walk to Kyoto Station

The staff were very helpful, in particular, they assisted us to send our bags by Takyuubin to Tokyo which made our journey much easier. The cleaning lady on our floor (floor 8) was lovely and made sure to greet us every time she saw us.

Most Japanese hotel rooms are tiny and have a weird step-up threshold to the bathroom which can be disorienting to those with balance and nausea issues, and this hotel has the highest step-up threshold of them all. For Canadians, it’s like stepping into an ice hut to use the washroom. Basically, all Japanese travel hotels are weird and this one was as weird as it gets.

The Kyoto tower could be seen from the room hotel which is nice. No free water and stirrer provided, it’s a bit inconvenient for people to drink hot stuff without spoons or stirrers. The hotel uses DHC brand for shampoo and shower gel etc which is very nice. The staff are friendly, but the lifts are accessible without room cards which might not be desirable in terms of security. It’s a bit noisy in early morning when the cleaning staff started to do preparation for rm cleaning, sound insulation of rooms is acceptable. The hotel is within 8 minutes’ distance from the JR station and there is a family mart near the hotel.
