Really nice place to stay at Kyoto. As occidental tue breakfast was quite diferente but good. The closest train I station is around 12 minutes consider that when you are carrying luggage.

Beautiful property close to everything and the staff was so helpful and friendly. My 4 teenage sons were happy with breakfast and we loved the big rooms and big television. Great hotel for a family or a couple.

The room is quite spacious. We got the three separate twin beds. Clean organized and well kept. I like that there are plenty of convenience stores within 3 minute walk of the hotel a 7-11 and a Lawson right across and beside is a shopping strip with local shops traditional restaurants indoor park grocery store and dollar store and plenty of street food options much better and affordable prices than Nishiki market which is about a 20 minute walk. The castle is about 9 minutes walk. Overall enjoyed my stay. The breakfast is Japanese style with sufficient options for all. Would stay again

Great place to stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is right across the street from a great market and beautiful castle. The staff were amazing at every interaction. The breakfast spread was delicious.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The room was comfortable and spacious. We didn’t love the food at the hotel breakfast so ended up going out for food but there are some good options that are close. There is an additional tax you will have to pay when you arrive at the hotel, I believe it was 600 yen/night.

The worst bed I have ever slept in in my life. The staff has very little English communication skills. Location is close to some restaurants and a temple which is very nice. The rooms were clean but were cleaned every 2 to 3 days. The free breakfast is very lacking and definitely more of an Asian style. I left a photo of the horrible box spring mattress and its mattress topper which felt like cardboard wish I could stay somewhere else it was the worst part about visiting Japan and I stayed at 4 other hotels during my visit.
