"The bed was comfy. Sadly nothing else was good about this apartment. It lacks basic amenities such as soap and curtains. We were kept awake all night by a broken down fridge fan that wouldn’t stop making noise, and then kept awake in the early hours of the morning by the sunrise as there are no curtain on one side of the apartment. There is no parking available, its residents only, which we were not warned about. There is also no lift and we were on the top floor with heavy luggage. Would not re book. "

"This was our first villa holiday and it was excellent, we was met at the villa by Gemma and although she doesn’t speak much English and I speak even less Spanish she gave us a very warm and friendly welcome and using the universal hand signals she showed us around the villa then left us too it, I text her a few times during our stay and she always replied, we knew she was nearby if needed but she was never intrusive.The villa itself is amazing, it has everything you need and is really spacious, the pool is not massive but it’s ideal for a nice dip and a cooldown, the villa is in a very quiet neighbourhood and it was so peaceful and relaxing not having to fight at 6am for a sun lounger, there is plenty of areas around the villa to sunbathe and also plenty of shade for when the sun is blazing down on you, the nearest Aldi & McDonald’s is 5mins walk away, the Aldi has everything you need including fresh bread in a morning, the main town is 20mins walk away, there is some nice restaurants in the town but definitely recommend the THAI restaurant it was great.From the main town the old town is another 25mins walk around the headland or catch the land train for 2euro, the old town is beautiful with some more Fantastic restaurants.It’s busy in the town at night, but it revolves around tapas and drinks, one thing we did miss was just a sports bar and maybe some live music but didn’t spoil the holiday.All in all 10/10 holiday thanks gemma"

"Great house for a group, with plenty of space for everyone. Located in a quiet area but only a short walk to the beach and to the old town. 4 supermarkets nearby and an excellent wine shop. The pool, outdoor space and BBQ were great for socialising and the kitchen was well appointed and equipped for the number of guests."

"Absolutely adored this hotel. Great location (shops & restaurants nearby, beach ditto!) and a beautiful pool & breakfast buffet. Our room had a lovely balcony with a sea view. An affordable mini luxury! "

"We had an enjoyable stay at Villa Marco Polo. The location is convenient, but you really need a car or scooter for reaching the beaches, nearby Riells and definitely old town, and supermarkets.Communication with the host was excellent, and assistance was prompt and helpful. The kitchen was well-equipped (note that there’s no oven), though the dishwasher is not located in the main kitchen.The villa was clean and everything functioned as expected, though the property is showing signs of age and the furnishings are quite basic. I’d recommend bringing your own bedding (fitted sheets, flat sheets, and pillowcases) and towels. Although we paid for them, the provided linens and towels were very worn (and we had to make the beds on arrival) The main bedroom has a comfortable bed, but the others were less so, and the pillows were in poor condition—we ended up purchasing new ones ourselves.It’s also worth noting that the fourth bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom, which may not work for some, it’s small so really just for young children. The pool and view were definite highlights. Outdoor furniture was adequate, though the main table was a folding camping table, and while there were umbrellas for shade, the main one was broken.We weren’t there to watch TV, but for reference, it wasn’t connected and air conditioning is only available at an extra cost.We had a good stay, and it’s a good villa, needs a little more love and attention given to it. "Good position, appears to have been recently refurbished, room very clean and comfortable with effective air conditioning. Very good breakfast and we enjoyed an excellent special fiesta dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. "

"Overall an excellent property with great facilities. There were some snags, but didn’t detract from the experience. Would have been useful to understand how elevated the property was, as we had a very elderly family member, but solved that by renting a mobility scooter. However, the views at night were lovely because of the height, with house martins swooping around. Location was great for Reills and Montgó beaches. "
