"This place is perfect for a seasoned solo traveler. It’s very safe and the inkeeper is absolutely wonderful. I stayed here alone and ventured out to see other areas and left my belongings here and returned four days later. It’s close to the central Market and a quick cheap uber ride. I walked to the local restaurant with the best views of San Jose.. Is it pampering? No. It’s clean and simple. Breakfast cooked by the inkeeper makes it feel like home. I appreciated this property so much because it was quiet. I planned my activities in other places but it was nice to come back here and enjoy the hospitality of a local owner. I would stay here again.❤️"

"We got in late and had a long stressful day and were hoping to have a drink. The bar was about to close but the bartender kept it open just for us so we were able to have a couple of beers to help decompress. The breakfast was wonderful!!!"

"We used Hotel Mango only as a hub to get close to the airport for travel the next day. It was PERFECT for that! The rooms were sparse at best, but comfortable."

"Decent breakfast selection. The hotel is in a nice location and next to stores and restaurants. The staff were helpful and nice. Just that there are not many amenities in the hotel , such as a pool or spa facilities to enjoy some time in "
