"I have stayed here before and it was an easy decision to rebook this hotel for our trip. The Hotel is a little remote in a small village but I prefer the tranquility and peace at the base of the Picos De Europa. The breakfast and evening meals were fantastic value and I absolutely enjoyed my stay there."

"Lovely hotel on the Plaza Mayor. We had a room facing the plaza. Beautiful room, comfortable. My only complaint is that the shower is a tub shower which is dangerously slippery. We need a walk in shower. Otherwise lovely."

"Our SatNav doesn't find street addresses in Spain for some reason, so for the first time we used Google Maps on a phone: this got us exactly to the hotel which is, effectively, opposite the hospital. The chap on reception was excellent: really welcoming and helpful, and explained very clearly how we were to access the underground car park. There is an on-site cafeteria, which was fine for us to have our evening meal. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed; the aircon worked well, and the double-glazing meant that there was no traffic noise to be heard. The bathroom was spotless, and had every amenity one needed."

"Lovely quiet place. Quite difficult to get to. Unclear instructions on where to park, how breakfast works, what the bar has to offer. Location for relaxing and unwinding is great. Be careful which room you book. Not. All have a window you can look out. Ours was just roof lights which was a real disappointment"

"Absolutely enchanting!! This is run by a couple with their kids and nephew - the took ruins and transformed it into a beautiful retreat for tourists. The suite was gorgeous and spacious. Loved the contrast of the dark wood and the stone/bricks. We had views of the mountains and it was so peaceful. Breakfast was included with delicious coffee and variety of baked goods, jambon, and fruit. The family is well traveled and it was lovely sharing stories of our travels. The owner recommended an ice cream shop in the next town with homemade ice cream - which we did and it was incredible (try the hazelnut and blueberry)! What a wonderful stay!"
