"We hebben genoten in villa castel met leuke gastvrouw. We zijn goed verzorgd en de vila was prachtig vanbinnen. Buitenom oogt alles wat vervallen, maar wat een rust en het heeft ook zijn charme. Mooi uitzicht over de vallei en Rhone met zicht op Lyon. Erg genoten. Goede wijn ook."

"This is a very unique place to stay in an old historic chateau overlooking the river and the city of Lyon France. The gardens and house could use some repair but the house was clean and very interesting place to stay. We had a car so parking was nice being out of the city. We opted for a home cooked meal for dinner and breakfast. The food was good and organic local foods."

"‘This is not a hotel’ is the first thing the hostess told us when she first called. The villa indeed is their own home and this is made very clear during our stay. The hostess treated our kids as a strict schoolteacher and to top it all off at the end of the evening also yelled upstairs that we were playing with the heating, which we were not. In the Summer this place might be nicer with the outside

but in the winter this would not be suitable for a family vacation. Price and quality do...
