Enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the colors of the sky change with the setting sun or grill your dinner in the beautifully manicured private grassy backyard and patio area equipped with a barbecue, a fire pit, comfortable seating, and el fresco dining for 4.



Enter this 440 square foot bungalow and find yourself in a spacious living room with a high-vaulted ceiling. Its beach inspired décor and comfortable seating, as well as a fireplace, a ceiling fan, a skylight, and a 42” wall-mounted flat screen TV, invite you to relax in this colorful, yet gentle space.



A quaint and modern kitchen provides everything you need to create your meals – all you need do is add the food and the camaraderie. And there is a seating nook for two in the event that you want to sip coffee or grab a quick bite.



The well-designed and spacious master bedroom has vaulted ceilings, calming décor, a large flat screen TV, and a full en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. A ceiling fan and natural lighting make it comfortable and pleasant. Quality linens for the bed and bath are also provided for your ultimate comfort.



With two beach chairs, towels, and a beach umbrella for your use, this home has everything you need for a sweet, simple vacation in a perfect location.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting. PETS: ONE TIME FEE OF $150 FOR DOGS - NOCATS ALLOWED.

The property was clean , the place is pet friendly and dogs have a great place to go on long walks. The bungalow we stayed in was newly renovated and it has all the amenities for a small family.

The bungalow had been remodeled so it looked even better than the original photos. It was cozy, well furnished, kitchen well equipped and front and back patio so enjoyable. Our host Rose was amazing and communicated fast and effectively in a friendly and profess manner. A delightful getaway close to the beach and restaurants.

2nd time staying here, and wonderful again! This small group of bungalows couldn’t be more perfect. The location is ideal for walking to the beach and the surrounding neighborhood. The inside is nicely appointed and clean. And the outside sitting areas are so nice! And we love having the included parking spot and the beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.

Great location

We really enjoyed the close walk to the beach, restaurants and coastal trail. The cottage kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the bed was comfortable and the beach chairs, wagon, etc was an added plus.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Bungalow 1 was well equipped with supplies and Rose was a fantastic host! The location is terrific as its a short walk to the beach and neighborhood eats. Loved our coffee and scones at Brick and Bell just before our morning beach walk!

Weekend to visit our son at UCSD

Great place to stay with our pups and very reasonably priced. This place is really centrally located - walking distance to the beach (La Jolla Shores) and to a bunch of shops and restaurants. This is particularly nice because dogs are allowed on the beach early mornings and late afternoons. :) Thank you!

Charming Beach Cottage

Clean and cozy cottage that was comfortable for two adults and two small dogs. Perfectly located just around the corner from all the shops and restaurants of Avenida de la Playa. You can walk to dinner and take in the sunset on La Jolla Shores. Minutes from other attractions near The Cove and a short ride to downtown San Diego. Great getaway spot for a weekend or an extended stay.

Quaint bungalow

Cute bungalow with wonderful beach access and nearby restaurants. The kitchen has only basic dishes and a Keurig style coffee maker. Stove top and fridge worked very well. There is a microwave, but it was stored in a cupboard and no place to really plug in and use. Loved the backyard sitting area!

Great Little Bungalow in LaJolla

I stayed here for nearly three weeks while having medical treatments in the area. The location was great, and although small, the bungalow was comfortable for our stay including the king sized bed and outdoor furniture. Rose was very responsive to a few questions I had. We cooked almost every day in the small kitchen and found the kitchen to be well stocked and with quality appliances. While this pet friendly place is near a busy street, the enclosed front courtyard and fenced backyard provided safety for our dog who stayed a few days with us. Would recommend for an affordable getaway to beautiful La Jolla!

Perfect location next to La Jolla Shore and many dining, shopping, activity options - easy to get to from Airport. There’s a cute back yard area, laundry, bikes/equipment for beach fun. Downsides - furniture is a bit worn/dated - could stand to be replaced and controls for heat and fans/lights were challenging - better instructions about use would be great. The light control in master may be on its way out - only worked sporadically

Beach Bungalow

Overall we enjoyed the location and our stay in the bungalow, but it really needs some TLC. The cushions on the couch (inside) and lounge chairs (outside) need to be cleaned. Put some cute pillows on the couch and put a coffee table back like the pictures on the website. In the bedroom, something to put our suitcases on would have been appreciated. Even just a chair would have been nice. We had to put everything down on the floor. The positives... location!!!! We enjoyed walking to the beach every day and eating at the local restaurants.

Not a very pleasant experience!

We were vacationing with our daughter & her family, they were staying in the adjacent bungalow, also listed by Vrbo. Our daughter’s bungalow looked new on the inside – paint, wallpapers, floor, appliances all good; in our – the wall plaster was slaking all over; stained bedsheet, heat and some light switches did not work properly (or worked off & on, with an old nonfunctional wall heater further confusing the issue) and we had to call the manager; a skylight started leaking the third day with water pouring down in the kitchen area and they had to install a new skylight… In short, we did not enjoy our stay & if we did not have our daughter in the next bungalow, where we ended up spending more of our indoors time, we might have called a ruined vacation. Our request for waving some rental cost as a compensation for all the inconveniences and as a gesture of goodwill has so far gone unheeded; a month passed & we have not heard anything from the management.
