Immerse yourself in La Jolla's village in our condo located steps away from La Jolla Cove. Located in one of the few areas of San Diego where a car truly is not needed, you can explore The Jewel of California by simply stepping out your front door. The Village is packed with incredible restaurants, cafes, shopping and museums. You can even explore an underwater cave at the Cave Shop. Outdoor activities right at your finger tips include hiking trails, beach walks, world class snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, tidepooling, swimming and so much more. Right across the street, you can sit on a bench at the famous Ellen Browning Scripps Park and watch the waves role in while pelicans and sea gulls dive for their afternoon snack.

However, you don't need to leave the condo to experience the beauty of La Jolla. Stay in, open the windows and let the ocean breeze take your worries away. There is nothing more mesmerizing than the astonishingly beautiful La Jolla Coastline visible from your living room couch. Our fully equipped and stocked kitchen makes meals at home easy and enjoyable. We have Air Conditioning (a rarity still along the coast in La Jolla) for those summer days when the ocean breeze can't cool you down completely. 2 full bathrooms, elegantly adorned, provide you with both a walk in shower and bath tub/shower to fit your preference. Perfect Location!

We had the best time staying at this property above Cove House! The location is perfectly located in the middle of amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and the water. The host left plenty of snacks, towels, blankets, etc. We felt very safe and comfortable!

Perfect location

We loved staying here with our 3 boys. Just a short walk and you’re at the beach, and a short walk the other way and you’re at the shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again in La Jolla!

Wonderful Property and Location

We were here for a wedding. The property was within walking distance of everything. The unit was immaculate, was furnished with everything we could have needed - plus some. Comfortable, clean, well furnished, tastefully decorated, and in a perfect location.

Quiet and Enjoyable Stay

My husband and I stayed at this property the few days leading up to our wedding in San Diego. The location was perfect, walking distance to so many stores and restaurants in La Jolla. A nice view of the ocean as well from the living room. The apartment was clean and super easy to check in to. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Luxury stay

My family stayed at this location for a couple of nights. The location is blocks from the beach and city center. Having a parking spot with this location pays is essential, as parking is difficult to find otherwise in La Jolla. Staying above a restaurant is a cool attraction. Place is clean and well kept.

Celebration

We came to celebrate my daughter's wedding. The location was convenient. Street parking was only an issue mid-day, but since we had the free parking garage pass, there's no issue. The apartment is spacious, clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay.

Paradise

Very well equipped, luxurious accommodations walking distance from a variety of excellent stores and restaurants and less than a block from the shore. Parking was provided but found a spot on the street right across from our gate that was not subject to any time restrictions. This section of La Jolla is a long time favorite spot to visit and would definitely plan another stay in this beautiful home. Highly recommend to other travelers.

Perfect La Jolla location

We loved being so central in La Jolla and also just steps away from a park for our dog to enjoy walks in every day. We could also walk to the beach to take a dip or walk up the coast to see all of the marine life. The views and location are just perfect to be in the middle of it all, but to also have quiet nights and mornings. We could hear the seagulls and sea lions when we left the windows open to get some of the ocean breeze while sleeping.

Great location

Location is excellent. If you want to walk to beach and to great restaurants this is a perfect location. It is above a restaurant (also amazing food) and sometimes deliveries at night were a problem for light sleepers. Good layout for families or two couples. Bedrooms separate but both well appointed. Excellent kitchen with everything you would need. Had two issues with hot water being turned off but host responsive and back on in one hour. Overall perfect location and host.

Quick trip between Christmas and New Year.......with waves!

We were lucky enough to get there during all those crazy waves. It was beautiful and a busy time to be there but alot of fun! Beds were great & kitchen was well stocked. My only constructive criticism is I believe those are the original single paned windows so you could hear everything going on outside. The host had fans in every room so we turned those on at night and you could not hear downstairs or outside so it did not bother any of us. The food and cocktails at the downstairs restaurant were great. The day we got there, there were people everywhere so parking and unloading were a challenge but the garage is not too far. And once the area cleared out at night, we moved the car closer and then we walked the rest of the time. We would definitely come back, the views can't be beat!

Great place close to everything

We stayed here for 5 nights when our daughter got married at La Valencia. The location cannot be beat as you can walk to everything in LaJolla. The unit is spacious and has everything you need, the washer dryer was especially great since we had an extended stay. Furnishing and decor are a little dated but it has a certain charm. As others have said it is above The Cove Restaurant and things can get a little noisy especially for those early morning deliveries but nothing we couldn't deal with. Communication and check in were good and directions clear. It is a little odd entering the back hallway of the restaurant but again not a deal breaker. The restaurant workers were always very friendly. Once you are in the unit it is very private. You can see the ocean from each room which was very nice. We only had to park in the garage one night the rest of the time we found street parking close to the unit. We enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding location, beautiful house

Location is simply ideal for La Jolla vacation - you can't find a location that would be more "close by to everything". House is beautiful and very comfortable. To be honest, it has very funny entrance - you walking in through the side door of the restaurant, narrow hallway with restaurant's restrooms on the left side, you see some cheap door and starting to think that you did a mistake by renting it ...and then you open the door and in front of you is a polished grand staircase with mirrors, paintings and bamboo ikebana, leading to beautiful airy apartment in ideal condition. Kind of like you opening the door of the poor fisherman's hut and suddenly find yourself in the palace hall. :) By the way, the restaurant on the first floor was no any problem whatsoever - no any smell, no additional noise, nothing that can be qualified as negative or disturbing. General impression - hidden gem for La Jolla vacation.

Cove House Blues

This property is in a great location near the ocean and downtown. It is pretty clean and well kept. Issues are as follows: The property is accessed through the back of the Cove House restaurant located below - passing by their bathrooms and storage area in a back hall. It is a little odd walking in and out, lacks privacy and creates noise during the day. The worst part of this though is the constant noise from below - not from guests but from equipment for the restaurant: refrigeration, air conditioning and other mechanical sounds that create both a constant humming sound, and on/off cycling during the night. It was difficult to sleep in this place. If you are a heavy sleeper this may not be an issues, but beware

Amazingly Perfect

I booked this spot for my wedding weekend- this was the perfect "bridal suite" with lots of space and natural light for hair and make up for 3 of us. The condo was fully stocked and we just couldn't stop complimenting everything. The only thing I would say was not perfect, there was a stinky smell (sewer/eggs) which wasn't too bad but if you are sensitive to smells - just be aware. Didn't ruin a thing and got used to it after a min or 2 The restaurant downstairs was perfect, we had our rehearsal dinner there! Reception was across the street at the Bridge Club so it was amazing to be able to watch it get set up as I was getting ready. The views are probably the best on the street. Parking in La Jolla is terrible, but once the shops close the streets empty and you can find a spot that isn't 2 hour. I parked in the same spot for 3 days with no problem. Seriously will book again, my guests also want to come back to this condo.
