La Marinella Beach is the archetypal Mediterranean beach, with sugary white sands, clear blue waters and surprisingly few crowds. For those seeking more action, La Marinella is also known for its exciting watersports and makes an excellent base for experiencing the nightlife in nearby Porto Rotondo.
The beach’s fine, white sands stretch 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers) along the coast. With shallow waters and a gentle slope, this beach is a safe and popular spot for families with young children. Walk to the water’s edge and look northeast, where you can see the islands of Soffi and Mortorio about 5 miles (8 kilometers) off the coast.

La Marinella Beach is located less than 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) from Porto Rotondo and a little over 9 miles (15 kilometers) from Olbia, along the northeastern coast of Sardinia. Free parking is available at the beach.
