"This property was ideal for our large group. We had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The kitchen, patio and pool area was spacious, open and well laid out. The theater was great too. "The House is very cute with a very personal style. There were two toilets and two bathrooms, which is great for a two generations family. The very nearby market of La Noue opens every morning and has everything you need, including oysters. The location is perfect. There are a nice restaurant, a pizza place and a bar just around the corner. The only caveat if you travel by car is, that parking space is very limited in high season "

"Great location and lovely villa: the pool, hot-tub and sauna were all really lovely features - the living space was exceptional and virtually like new! We enjoyed La Noue, the local market, we cycled to La Flotte and also headed back across the bridge to visit La Rochelle on one, unusually, cloudy day. Recommended. "

"This was our second stay in La Pigouille and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is in a great location, only a short walk from the village square of La Noue where you can find a bakery, cheese shop, fishmonger as well as a couple of restaurants. There’s also a daily market on the square. At the same time, it’s only a short walk to the
beach
. La Piqouille is spotlessly clean and lovingly decorated. We immediately felt at home when we returned. Communication with the owner Béatrice is exemplary....

"The cottage looks very nice and has all it needs, really comfortable. Bring your own tablets for the dishwasher and soap for the washing machine, that’s all. Checking in and out was easy and pleasant, contact very friendly. We cleaned the cottage ourselves so didn’t have to pay €65 for cleaning. We stayed a week in June, a good time of the year as it is not so busy yet. I would absolutely avoid August (don’t know about July). Cycling the island is wonderful, especially near the nature reserve....
