This villa is lovely and in easy walking distance from bars, restaurants and the supermarket.The villa actually has 6 bedrooms, but was advertised as 4. The two other bedrooms are a bunkbed room (for kids only) and a little single bed snug room (with bathroom), but perfectly big enough.There is no mention of a need of a car at this location, but it would be handy as the public transport is a bit sporadic.

Lovely quiet villa

Great villa in very peaceful/quiet town of Lajares. Pool was used almost daily and all bedrooms/bathrooms were great. Hosts/Management very communicative and helpful. Would visit again.

Amazing villa in great location

This spectacular villa had all we could want and more. Very spacious, high quality and stylish furniture inside and out. Really comfortable beds and super clean. Pool was perfect, as it was heated I could swim even on cooler days. Very peaceful location, about 15 mins stroll into Lajares and 5-10 mins walk from plenty of restaurants. Can’t see enough good about this place, great communications before, during and after. 5*

Beautiful house and lovely hosts

Max and Caroline were so helpful and lovely - nothing was ever too much! (Even buying us some emergency rosé from the local supermarket as a favour!) The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The only thing missing was air con and unfortunately we were there during a heatwave so it was pretty uncomfortable but that was just bad luck and I don’t imagine air con is usually essential. The local area is quiet and peaceful - we spent most of the time by the pool! The local town is very pretty, with plenty going on. You definitely need a car!

Excellent client support

Rather bizarrely my praise for this property and its owners concerns something that went wrong! Upon arrival the pool was “out of commission” The local representatives worked tirelessly to fix the problem and we had use of the pool after a few days. To be fair we probably would not have used it in that time due to the weather but the response was outstanding. Villa is enormous and well equipped, we are regular visitors to El Cotillo and the surrounding area and we would certainly return to this property. One minor point, I’m not sure the sofas in the main room would be suitable for older guests, perhaps a more “conventional” piece of furniture would be beneficial.All in all highly recommended based on customer service and local representative presence and availability.

Wonderful house and gardens

The house and gardens are just beautiful, a lovely place to relax. The location is fantastic, Lajares is a great little village with everything you need and very close to the northern beaches. 10/10!

February break

This was a beautiful villa to stay in: even better than the photographs! The decor was original and stunning; the rooms very spacious; the kitchen was well-equipped and all the beds and sofas (indoors and outdoors) were very comfortable. The outside area was sheltered, even when windy, and the pool was heated to a perfect temperature. The area was peaceful and close to a supermarket, bakeries and local shops. The hosts were very helpful if we had any queries. It is worth noting that you can’t drink the tap water so stock up before arriving.

More than AMAZING

The Villa is simply fantastic. It's even bigger and more spacious than it looks like on the pictures. The pool is huge and definitely a highlight. But also the terrace upstairs, the bathroom of the master bedroom and the perfectly equipped kitchen are just perfect. But actually everything else is also really great. Check-In and communication: Perfect. After one week the sheets and towels got changed! (sooo nice) Thanks for two amazing weeks.

Modern and spacious villa. Everything was clean and well maintained. Kitchen has lots of clean cutlery and cooking dishes, the only thing we couldn't find was a microwave. Bathroom off the master bedroom has a huge walk in shower. Pool is long - perfect for a proper swim. Large sun terrace with six comfortable sunbeds and jacuzzi (pool towels supplied). We really felt at home here, so comfortable and clean and spacious. The layout is good for a large family holiday with a large bedroom and sun terrace upstairs and a separate two bedroom apartment, perfect for parents or teenagers wanting their own space. Lajares has grown so much over the years, and while it's only a short 10 minute drive to the main resort in Corralejo and 20 minutes to the large shopping centre in Puerto del Rosario, there's no need to leave as Lajares has a good selection of food and drink. The villa is located in a quiet area 10 minutes walk from the village centre, up from the football stadium just off the Majanicho road and a few minutes walk to local restaurants - Oum (Lebanese - highly recommend booking), Alquimia (sushi), Agua Tiki Bar (cocktails), Vala (coffee, brunch). Great places to eat and drink in Lajares - Almirante Brunch, La Cancela (pizza, pasta), El Goloso (bakery), Rojo Tomate (pizza), Kuma (burger). Caroline was a perfect host, supported by the local property management team Katharina and Anthony. Great communication with detailed arrival instructions and guide for the villa.

Five Stars!

The most superb villa run by a superb team. Early access which was so appreciated, an incredibly well equipped and beautiful kitchen with everything you could ever need for a holiday stay, a fabulous pool that I we definitely didn't take enough advantage of, so much space and the added extra of some air con when needed was a bonus. Highly recommend for a visit to Fuertavenura and the Villa, while slightly outside the very centre of Lajares, is well within walking distance of the small village centre and just a short drive east or west for a change of scene and a beach day. A wonderful, restful week in a wonderful villa. We hope to return one day soon. Special thanks to Steve and Xim.

Großartige Villa

Unser später “Sommerurlaub” im Oktober in dem Ort Lajares hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Die Villa liegt in einem ruhigen und sicheren Viertel, wobei das Städtchen Lajares mit einem kurzen Spaziergang zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Dort gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt, einige kleinere Geschäfte und Restaurants. Die Bilder des Exposé spiegeln die Wirklichkeit sehr gut wider. Im Haupthaus sind 3 schicke Doppelzimmer mit 3 Bädern sowie eine offene, top ausgestattete Küche mit mehr als genügend Geschirr, Besteck und Kochgeschirr. Wir haben es sehr genossen, dort gemeinsam zu kochen und dabei den Tag Revue passieren zu lassen. Angegliedert ist ein kleineres Apartment mit einem Schlafzimmer, Bad, einer Wohnküche und einem Durchgangszimmer. Durch dieses gelangt man zu dem großen, schön bepflanzten Aussenbereich mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und dem wunderbaren, großen, je nach Jahreszeit beheizten Pool. Zugang zu dem Aussenbereich hat man bei mehreren Zimmern des Haupthauses ebenfalls. Jedes Zimmer hat eine individuell zu regelnde Klimaanlage. Ausserdem kann man die Waschmaschine und den Trockner nutzen. Bei Problemen war der Manager Anthony sofort erreichbar und hat schnell Abhilfe geschaffen. Sowohl die Strände bei Corralejo als auch bei El Cotillio erreicht man mit dem Auto in 15 min. Für unsere Familie hat die Villa wunderbar gepasst und wir würden sie sofort wieder mieten.

Une semaine de rêve aux Canaries

Très bon contact par mail avec Caroline pour organiser au mieux notre séjour . La villa est conforme aux photos , sauf que tout est plus grand que ce que l'on voit !! Maison d'architecte, très bien conçue et décorée ... La chambre parentale est immense avec un grand dressing ! Literie impeccable et serviettes de douche et piscine également ... Piscine chaude et abritée du vent avec joli jardin verdoyant contrastant avec cette ile minérale ! Vraiment rien à redire, tout est fait pour que cette semaine reste gravée dans nos mémoires . Trop contents d'avoir pu s'y retrouver en famille, ce sont des moments uniques !!

Großzügige Villa in ruhiger Lage

Die Villa ist sehr großzügig und noch größer, als es auf den Fotos erscheint. Das Haupthaus mit drei Schlafzimmern hat einen großen Wohn- und Essbereich, in dem wir uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt haben. Besonders toll fanden wir neben dem großen, beheizten Pool auch die neue Außenküche mit Holzgrill. Im vorderen Bereich gibt es noch ein Apartment mit zwei weiteren Schlafzimmern, das wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Wir wurden vor Ort ganz wunderbar von Anthony empfangen, bei allen Fragen und (kleinen) Problemen hat er uns sofort weitergeholfen. Vielen Dank dafür!

Wunderschön

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Die Architektur perfekt und auch die Inneneinrichtung sehr geschmackvoll. Die Küche ist mehr als ausreichend ausgestattet. Genügend Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Wir hatten einen Stromausfall und nach meiner Nachricht dauerte es nur 20 Minuten bis jemand kam und sich darum gekümmert hat. Sehr bemüht und nett. Rundum ein perfektes Zuhause auf Zeit.
