"Easily the most fantastic part of this property is its beach! Just a short walk down the driveway and across the street is a wonderful deck with benches and stairs to the lake. Our grandkids had a wonderful time looking for agates and driftwood and jumping off nearby docks. The beach was all ours and we saw only one kayaker in 5 days. We had a cookout one evening and enjoyed the fire pit and some provided wood while the kids played cards indoors. My only disappointment was the stove. We had planned to do breakfasts and lunches in the cabin and the ill fitting burners on the stove made this difficult. We managed but I would recommend replacing the stove burners with ones that fit. The kitchen is very basic but Jon communicated that to me so I came prepared. The cabin is quiet and comfy and was just what we needed to kick back and relax. The sound of Lake Superior waves on the shore was unforgettable."
