Come enjoy the good life at this PGA West Pasadena 2 Plan 2610 Sq. Ft home. This magnificent desert resort home is located on the 9th hole at the famed Weiskopf golf course at PGA West in La Quinta. You will feel like you just stepped into a desert resort from the moment you enter this home, you will be greeted by a great room that flows seamlessly between the kitchen, dining room & living room. The decor is done in the popular desert modern flair with beautiful artwork and comfort as the inspiration for your vacation. The kitchen is set up to satisfy all of your needs from cooking to entertaining, and offers easy access to the outdoor living space. The covered patio offers lots of seating with views of the dramatic Santa Rosa Mountains. The property has a custom-built pool & spa that are designed to maximize your relaxation time in the sun. The master suite offers a king-size bed with a leather couch for relaxing and is complemented by the large primary bathroom complete with a sunken tub and walk-in shower. The guest suite offers a queen-size bed with a private bath and is perfect for those nights with a little extra company. The detached Casita also has a queen-size bed and sitting area with a sofa sleeper and can be accessed from the main courtyard. This home offers all the high-tech amenities required these days from TVs in each bedroom, 42'' Plasma in the living room that can be lowered into the furniture, and high-speed internet complimentary. This Home is a very comfortable place to stay while you're exploring the Coachella Valley or attending the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Desert Int'l Horse Show, Tennis Events, Polo Games, and Golf Tournaments. Some of the best dining in the valley is just a short drive away. Old Town La Quinta is also close by. There are many miles of bike and walking trails available if that is an attractive activity for you.

This home requires a refundable security deposit. Homeowner will pay up to $350 on gas and electric (combined) per month, any overage will be guest responsibility.

Relaxing weekend by the pool.

Avoid; outdated and unkept. Mouse feces.

I chose this property based on pictures and one review; poor decision. This listing was a complete misrepresentation from our actual experience. Within one hour of our arrival, I called and left a message for the property management. Upon entering the grounds, it looked unkept. No one bothered to tidy the grounds prior to our arrival. I placed my bags down and began to gather leaves, dead fronds and put away a garden hose left to fill a non-functioning fountain in the courtyard; potential tripping hazard for my guests and I. The towels were old, worn and off white with frayed cotton loops. There were no written pool instructions in the property’s welcome booklet. The toilet dispenser in the guest bathroom was broken. Coffee mugs and plates were chipped. Mouse droppings were later discovered in the corner of the master bath’s vanity. The master bedroom’s mattress was as comfortable as sleeping on a plank of wood. The casita has no window covering on the window directly in front of the home’s walkway, instead a wooden room divider was placed for privacy; however, it does not provide adequate coverage. The property manager’s husband returned my call in the afternoon the FOLLOWING day after I placed a 2nd call earlier that morning. He brought several bath towels with a bottle of persecco which I left in the fridge; no thank you. Do not be fooled by the pictures, this property is dated with dusty artificial plants throughout, old tile counter tops and an extremely difficult sliding glass door to open leading to the backyard. Good luck trying to lock the ancient dishwasher door. Also, master bedroom has no cable/satellite connection. I did my best not to share my disappointment with my guests, but, seeing mice running across the backyard was the last straw. At this price point, I expected to maintain/exceed my lifestyle, not suffer in an outdated dusty mouse trap. Keep looking, this is not the vacation rental that will meet your expectations.

Desert Getaway

Celebrated my 40th in this luxurious property. Stunning views of the golf pond & course with the mountains in the background from the pool. The pool waterfalls and in pool sitting makes you want to stay in the pool all day. The layout of the house is great for couples wanting separate rooms for privacy. The amazing kitchen is great for cooking and entertaining. This place makes you never want to leave!
