Beautiful private backyard with saltwater pool!

"The Desert Haven", a beautifully decorated home is perfect for entertaining! The owner, a Palm Springs area luxury interior designer, has created a warm and inviting space, inside and out. This home features a 2400 sq. ft. open floor plan with volume ceilings, 4 bedrooms (one with French doors/separate entry off the front courtyard); 3 bathrooms; a game room loft with a pool table; four smart TV's, and so much more. The property includes an elegantly landscaped backyard where you will enjoy the spectacular mountain sunsets from the private saltwater pool and spa.
The Desert Haven is conveniently located less than 5 miles to the Coachella Music Festival/ Stagecoach event center. Stay in March and watch the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament, also located at the IWTG, or take in the nationally recognized La Quinta Arts Festival in Old Town La Quinta. For those guests flying in, the home is less than 20 miles east of Palm Springs airport. Come visit The Desert Haven, any time of the year, you won't be disappointed!
In booking your reservation, please let us know if you would like the pool heated for your stay. To heat the spa is no extra charge but we do ask for compensation to cover the pool heating costs. It takes a full extra day ahead to fully heat, we charge $100. for your first day and $50. each additional day.

Awesome stay!

Me and a group of three friends stayed at this house while in the area for a golf vacation. The house was perfectly set up, and the outdoor area was phenomenal. Communicating with the hosts was easy, and the property was equipped with everything you would need for a fun trip away. I highly recommend Chris and Michelle’s house to anyone heading to the area!

We had an absolute perfect week. The host and hostess were fantastic with immediate responses. Everything was provided. The saltwater pool, beach access pool, and landscaping was like a paradise. The green space in the backyard was fantastic with lots of sun and shady areas. The layout of the home was very spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood was great with easy access and very safe. We had easy access to the interstate and all of the activities nearby. We would happily rent this place again. We cannot say enough good things about this place.

Comfortable, clean, and convenient.

Very nice property only a short drive to various activities. We hiked, visited Palm Springs, Ladder Canyon, the Aerial Tram, and more. The house is conveniently located. Shopping was very close (within 10 minutes or less). Beds were comfortable and the house fit our family of six perfectly. Hot tub heated to 88F so was comfortable. Would stay here again.

Beautiful little paradise

The house is impeccably maintained and beautifully designed. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything in the kitchen is super clean and the bedrooms are spotless. The host was incredibly welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Will definitely go back.

Wonderful home, great location

This villa was just what we needed. Chris & Michelle have thought of everything that you could possibly need for your stay. The outdoor space is fantastic, so peaceful and relaxing. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. Plenty of things to do in the local area too. Can't wait to return!

Great Stay for BNP Tennis

We stayed here for a family vacation to watch tennis at the BNP Paribas. The house was wonderful. Great location with easy commute to the tennis tournament. Our hosts were very accessible and the whole process went very smoothly. Would highly recommend!

A perfect home for a get together

The property is even better than the pics indicate. The backyard is wonderful. Lots of activities for everyone inside (board games, pool table & ping pong table) and outside (pool & hot tub). The home was fully furnished with lots of amenities including lots of bath and beach towels. Small detail however much appreciated. The host even decorated for Christmas-nice touch!

Family time

We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed the home and the pool. The hosts provided pool toys so my grandchildren ages 5 and 20 months had so much fun! There is also a grassy area in the back that also provided them an area to play. The location was great and near restaurants and shops. The host served as my realtor by showing properties in the area and was promptly attended to any needs or questions we had.

What a vrbo property should be

The owners clearly have the gift of hospitality. House is perfectly clean, well decorated, well stocked. You know that they are sharing a HOME with you, not just renting a property. Owners were readily available if we had needs or questions during the stay. Excellent experience.

Great Stay

The property was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The owners were great with communicating and even came by to drain the pool as there was a rain storm. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room to hang out. The pool was clean and nice, it has a shelf step which was perfect for the little ones. One thing I really enjoyed was the water pressure, lol. I know it’s silly, but it’s really nice to shower with great water pressure after being in a pool all day! Overall we would totally stay again!

Great, Big Back Yard

We had a great time! We spent most of our time in the backyard and in the pool. Chris was great; very attentive and very helpful. The house has everything you need and is very well maintained. The loft was a lot of fun and well suited for families with kids of all ages. The only downside was the street noise (intermittent) in the back yard, but we got used to it pretty quick and didn’t notice it much after the first day or two. Overall great experience and we would definitely come back!
