Overall we enjoyed our stay at Park Hotel. The hotel is clean, reception staff friendly and helpful and our room met our expectations. A couple of issues that led us to rate as “good” but not “excellent” - on our check-out day we were initially told we would not be able to use the hotel beach as it was “full” and new guests had checked in early. We felt this was a little unreasonable, in the end we were allowed to use the beach for 3 hours but still had to pay the daily €4.50 fee each. Also, whilst understandably the breakfast buffet is a served buffet during Covid, it is a very chaotic experience and we actually decided to go out for breakfast after our first day.

"The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful...they even offered to take our laundry home to help us (we didn't let them work after hours). The location is close to the train station, and walkable to Modena. The room was clean, and the a/c worked well. The curtain was missing, but the shudders ..."
