"Great hotel right off the main street! Not overly crowded since it's not in the malecon area which makes for a more private stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, very clean room, pool was pristine and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend it! Perfect for couples or small families."

"Wow! Where to start..The host was responsive but didn't solve all the issues adequately. When we arrived, the kitchen was horrid. Scratched pans, a rediculously small coffee maker without any filters, one cracked bowl, mismatched silverware and not much of it, no paper towels, no tissues, no hand towel. The host replaced the pans, coffee maker, microwave, and blender on day 3, half way through our trip. Light bulbs were out, some were replaced. Bugs in the light fixtures. One of three fixed. The Chromecast didn't work, and the host wasted over an hour of my time trying to trouble shoot. Not a great way to spend limited vacation time. He replaced it day three. It works, but has to be factory reset each time. The worst issue was the roaches. The door has an inadequate lock. The strike plate was removed because,"it doesn't work with it". So someone could break it in if desired. There is no handle on the door, so good luck closing it properly. In fact the manager that fixed things while we were out for the day left it wide open(ajar). What a way to return home! Finally there was no sweep on the door and the one that was placed doesn't even cover the length of the door. Say hello to your nighttime friend the roaches because there's a conduit through the building foundation outside your door and it's infested. Literally over a hundred a day pouring out. The complex itself seems fabulous if you're not in the cockroach infested region."
