La Vineuse Holidays

Beautiful hotel located close to the basilique and the Roman theater. You can walk to Vieux Lyon and enjoy the old town. Great staff and great hotel. Highly recommended!

We stayed here while hiking the TMB and the staff was very friendly. We had to get up before complimentary breakfast the next day, so she let us grab breakfast items the night before. We had a small fridge in our room, so we were able to put it in there overnight. The hotel was in a great location especially when taking the bus for the TMB. The only downfall is that the shower head shot at the door, and it will flood the entire bathroom if you use it, so we had to take it off and use it that way.

The hotel was much darker in colors than the photos show. We stayed only one night and the staff was excellent. Room service was very quick however it tasted more warmed than freshly made. The room was efficient and the beds very clean. Included slippers were nice. The shower room was very poorly ventilated and mold and mildew were on the ceiling which was unsettling. The water was nice and warm and check in and out very efficient. If better maintained would be a 5. It was clean just needed more long term care and better ventilation.

Was only staying over 1 night but this was such a nice stay! The staff were extremely warm and good vibes, the room was clean and very cute, the aircon was extremely welcome in after the 32°C days, generous pillow allocation and nice breakfast. The location is also excellent for the centre of town, of course, and there is a baggagerie which is nice if you want to walk around Vieux Lyon after checkout/before travel. Ended up sad that I wasn't staying longer but will definitely come back here next time I'm in Lyon. Thank you so much for making my very brief stay as nice as it could be :)
