"Staff were very courteous and hotel was very clean. The hotel is very quiet, but surrounding area is a bit noisey and I would recommend ear plugs at night. I would definitely stay here again."

"The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "Small room, but this is Tokyo afterall! Beautifully clean, quiet and efficiently laid out. Reception staff and concierge were very helpful and friendly. Location is great, although some additional detail on the website on how to get from Shinjuku station to the hotel would be welcome (maybe a map or info on which exit from the station etc)."
"This hotel was great spot! The staff are friendly and it was helpful that they spoke English. The hotel is very close to the train stations, many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The room is small (like most hotels in Tokyo) but definitely fine for 2 adults. This hotel is in the red light district so be aware of that but it never caused any issues for us. Definitely would come back! "
"We travel a lot and we have to rate this hotel as one of the best ever. The staff were amazing especially the manager and the restaurant staff!!! Excellent location and amazing food.
The most hospitable staff ever. "
"Lovely cosy entrance and room felt luxurious and very clean. Very comfortable bed, Staff were so welcoming and a lovely Juice and chocolate gift on arriving. Loved my stay here "
"Fantastic location super close to the park and other businesses. Rooms were kept very clean and were well designed for the space. Shower was always hot and ready and we didn’t want for anything. Staff was on point all the time even with the daily eco cleans. Bakery downstairs was a bonus and we couldn’t get enough of the bread and pastries. "
