"Our stay at the Brier Islland lodge was very nice. The room was comfortable if a bit sparse, but staying here is about enjoying the local hospitality and nature, so not about hanging out in the room. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to the Island. Whale watching was a great experience in late Sept and we thoruoghly enjoyed our day and a half there."

"We enjoyed a 10 night stay at the cottage. Andrea was very easy to communicate with and quickly answered any questions. The cottage was clean and spacious with everything that we needed. The property was beautiful, right beside the quiet lake with no neighbours close by. The dock was a perfect place to sit and watch the sunset, lots of photos were taken! We enjoyed both of the fire tables and the bbq and used both of them almost every night. We loved the place and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic vacation."

"It's a unique spot for sure - we arrived late afternoon and only spent the evening but could see staying longer and taking more advantage of the lake. We did have a wonderful fire on the deck and played crib which was perfect for the time we were there."

"Property was lovely, they’d added even more amenities than when we booked, it was wonderful. My only suggestion is to write down your check in code or the wifi BEFORE you get there, we had no service until we were able to access wifi so couldn’t access any messages to reach out, thankfully we saw another guest after 10-15mins and they gave us the wifi. Other than that the stay was lovely."

"Great location - close to the beach (2 min drive) and to near by towns for shopping and food. Kayaks was a nice touch! The place was clean and well stocked. Unfortunately, we did notice an odour throughout the stay. We found that by opening windows, running the fan and using a candle, we were able to reduce it."

"Magical property! Immaculate, VERY well stocked kitchen as well as laundry facility and linens. Comfortable bedrooms and living room furniture. More than enough space for three adults and one dog. Incredible views from inside, the covered deck, fire pit and landing (we used them all!). Peaceful and quiet! Add the hummingbirds, gold finches, loons and bald eagles and you have magical! Great location for exploring Digby Neck, Yarmouth and every beautiful bay and community in between. Host was responsive and helpful with knowledge about community activities which was wonderful. Kayaking the lake is a must do with an variety of paddling watercraft to choose from and clean life jackets. Our dog LOVED sitting outside with us on the deck and fire pit as well as taking a walk up the driveway to the road."

"A beautiful well-taken home that was thoroughly enjoyed by our family! There was a lot of things for our family to do in this area of Nova Scotia. The breath taking views were loved by all and will be remembered for a very long time. The host was easily reached and very accommodating"
