"This property was a very pleasant surprise. Comfortable,clean room. The hotel is much closer to old town than it looks (Frontenac is a short 10 minute walk). Close to many restaurants on rue St Louis and in old town. Breakfast buffet was ok but very expensive for what it was."

"Staff excellent, management and security was poor to say the least! There was an incident where a person was allowed into the dining room whose behaviour was disturbing, schizophrenic like…perhaps on hard drugs… to the point my wife and daughter were fearful. We asked to be moved from our table to a more secure location in the dining room. Other patrons felt the same way. When we went to the front desk to ask to speak with the manager on duty, there was no one and no security in the building either. The wait staff did call first responders, ambulance attendants did arrive at which time the person in question left. Some time later, two policemen came into the lobby. All of the decisions were made by the head waitress, job well done! As for the senior management of the hotel, very poor left staff to fend for themselves!"
