Property was awesome…enjoyed everything about our stay Expedia gave the owner trouble with her getting paid…Expedia got paid by myself so why it was not like that for the owner to get paid!! I didn’t appreciate that at all

Great stay should have book with them directly as they would have given military discount place and property is awesome, like stepping back in time and keeping modern necessities like air conditioning 100% will stay again

Perfect Getaway!!!

This has been one of the best last minute getaway trips!! We werent sure what to expect, after arriving and seeing the peacefulness of the location we did not want to leave to get out for dinner. We spent one night and the entire stay was relaxing and just what we needed to get away for a break. Mrs Lyn was wonderful, breakfast was great, we are looking forward to another stay but for longer. Highly recommended!!!! Do not hesitate this is a MUST book!!!

Wonderful Romantic Getaway

What a wonderful place to get away and rekindle a romance. Everything was amazing and we will be back for sure! Nothing was overlooked from the candles by the tub to the wonderful breakfast served to the door! Thanks Lyn for an amazing get away!! Such a memorable way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!

Getting there was easy, Leaving was almost impossible.

We needed a getaway for the weekend and were blown away. We rented the Autumn cottage and were taken back to a different time where things were at a little slower pace. The cottage was clean, neat, organized and the Hostess was lovely. We will be back soon and hopefully for longer next time.

So warm and inviting!

We had a great time! My husband and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary. What a great way to spend it! Lyn was such a great hostess, so warm and inviting. She asked us right into her home where we visited for at least half an hour. The bed was so comfy, and the breakfast was awesome too! The only dissapointment was that we had to leave early and missed our last breakfast!

Front porch and lemondade - Relaxing in Rayne LA

We spent a weekend with Lyn and Ken in their Autumn Cottage. Drove down from DFW on a Friday and having to do it again we'd have stayed longer. It was as relaxing of a couple days as I have spent in a long time. The oversized front porch chairs that sit under huge flowering crape myrtle's was the perfect spot to enjoy the pitcher of lemonade that awaited us upon arrival. Lyn brings a basket each morning to your door with breakfast that included sweet rolls, a sausage and egg dish, fruit and a biscuit. The cottage itself is appointed perfectly for such an occasion and was spotless. Take your fishing pole as there is a pond on property with nobody fishing it. The walks around the pond and over the bridge have a romantic flare and we enjoyed the every minute.

Noto Wedding Weekend

My son got married this past weekend in Scott with the reception in Rayne. I rented all 4 cottages for my immediate family. It was a GREAT weekend. Every cottage was extremely clean and well maintained. The breakfast delivered to your door each morning was delicious!! Lyn is an excellent cook and hostess. I would highly recommend the cottages for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Created the best memories!

I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the happiest experiences of my life! A slice of what heaven will be like! If you love history and charm...this has it...in bushels. We stayed in the Autumn Cottage which was a turn of the century lumber office in Rayne, LA.. Ken, the owner, had a vision of restoration that was beautifully realized. Not overdone, to strip it of it's character, it has all the old shiplap, bead board, clapboard siding, front door with transom, windows, and wood floors...which make it imperfectly PERFECT! Tastefully decorated, by his wife Lyn(co-owner), to give it a very sweet little farmhouse cottage feel. I don't want to give too much away, because I want you to be surprised, but all the details will make you sigh with delight! My husband and I did. Too many times to count!

Weekend Getaway for R & R

We stayed 3 nights and seldom left our cottage. We felt like we wee in our own home away from home and really enjoyed just being together reading or resting. It was great!!! Next time we will stay longer. We drove 300 just to getaway from everything & everybody and it was worth it. Lyn provided us with a wonderful breakfast and we had bought a few groceries, so we didnt have to go out if we chose not to. We opted to go to dinner a couple of times and really enjoyed our whole experience.
