"Lovely situation, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful pool, nice restaurant, the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. I’d definitely stay again."
"Perfect area for business travel. But if you expect convenience in shopping or entertainment nearby. Sorry that it’s not there. The hotel conditions are good. Staffs are very polite and good in service. As I only stayed one night there, I didn’t use the facilities there and thus have no comment. "

"Definitely a location we will be back to.
Amazing views, great staff. If you are looking to be a bit off the crazy busy towns and yet just a short panoramic ride away, this is the place for you!!!!"
"This hotel is truly exceptional. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the region, it offers a rare combination of tranquility, luxurious comfort, and remarkable generosity. Whether you choose to simply relax and enjoy your stay or explore the highlights of Lake Como—as we did with short day trips—you’ll leave with a deep sense of satisfaction.
What made our experience truly outstanding was the hotel staff. We stay at similar hotels often, but these professionals were by far the best we’ve encountered. They responded to our emails within 30 minutes and went out of their way to fulfill every request. “No” simply isn’t in their vocabulary. They organized a number of special tours for us and ensured everything ran flawlessly.
Thanks to their dedication, we had one of the most memorable vacations of our lives.

"From beginning to end - i could not have asked for a more friendly, welcoming host.
Communication was fantastic and despite our very delayed late arrival - the lovely angy met us personally and welcomed us.
This is a delightful rustic agriturismo up in the hills near galbiate. A friendly family run accommodation that unfortunately was hit hard during covid and are slowly building back up to full business again.
They very kindly upgraded us to the larger room complete with mini kitchen (fridge, sink, cooking hob, cleaning products and glasses/ crockery/utensils).
A very welcome addition of 2 bottles of water were in the fridge when we arrived. It was very warm and we needed the fan they provided to keep us cool.
The room had a huge bed as well as a large sofa bed so could potentially hold 4 guests.
We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings having a glass of wine and a snack listening to the cicadas and watching the sun set behind the trees.
The peace we felt from we arrived whilst on site was lovely. We were very interested in learning more about the history of the property and the family very kindly provided us with some info that cannot be found online.
We opted to have breakfast on our final morning in the large restaurant situated below the converted hay barn which consisted of fresh continental style breakfast, coffee and ruby orange juice. We had the opportunity to speak with more of the family who were incredibly friendly and could not do enough"
"Although parking is easy and near , you have to be ready to park off premises. The hotel is amazing, we need a large mirror in the rooms. Other than these all is very good and clean and everyone is very friendly "
"Me and my family stayed here for a week to go to my brother’s wedding up in Belagio. This place is beautiful and the view is also amazing from the dock. Luciano and his wife were very welcoming and accommodated all of our needs as much as they could. Breakfast options was also great. The locals are very friendly , I befriended two of the local business owners around the area as well. The room we stayed in was the biggest one in the top , we loved the sun roofs. Overall the room service was also great. I definitely recommend Don Abbondio. "
"The staff was unbelievable. So sweet and helpful. We were supposed to stay one night and extended a second. There is a super cute area that is walking distance. The hotel is quiet and beautiful. The restaurants and views are amazing. Renting a boat around the area is also super easy. 10/10! Oh and they are kid and dog friendly. The only thing is I wish the pool was better positioned but whatever. "
