A newly built villa set directly on the Gramacho golf course, quiet, contemporary and finished to a high standard throughout. Fairways on the doorstep, a heated pool in a garden that wraps around the house, and the coast ten minutes away by car.

Arriving

A gated driveway with room for as many as five cars leads to the entrance. A tall wooden door opens straight into the heart of the house.

Inside

The ground floor is one generous open-plan space — living room, dining room and kitchen — lined with floor-to-ceiling glass that pulls the garden inside. Two sofas face a large smart TV in the living area, and the dining table seats eight.

The kitchen is fully equipped: oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and a Nespresso machine, along with all the utensils, tableware and small appliances you'll need for a week of proper cooking. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and dryer, and there's a guest WC off the living area.

Sleeping

The master bedroom opens off the dining room, with a king-size bed, fitted wardrobes and the same tall windows as the rest of the ground floor. Its ensuite has a bath with shower, WC and basin.

Upstairs are two further bedrooms — one with a king-size bed, the other with twin singles — both with generous wardrobe space, both with their own private balcony and bistro table for two, and both with an ensuite shower room. Two more terraces on the top floor give you somewhere to read or take a call away from the pool.

Outside

The living area opens onto the garden and the large heated pool, framed by lawns and planting that sweep around the villa. There's a chill-out area with three outdoor sofas and a coffee table, plus a second dining table seating eight for evenings outdoors.

Six sun loungers line the pool, and a decked area at the side of the house holds a double lounger for the quietest spot on the property.

In the heart of Gramacho golf course in Estômbar, Lagoa — ideal for a golfing week, with a small supermarket and a restaurant on site and the beaches of the central Algarve a ten-minute drive away.
