I stayed at the Hotel Ibis Ikeja for 7 days visiting family. On the plus side, the staff were generally helpful and friendly, and overall the hotel was clean. However, the fabric of the building was shabby and the facilities need updating. The towels were the most threadbare I have ever used, and the gym, while operational, was not well maintained. I know this is marketed as a budget hotel, but I have stayed at other Ibis hotels in the UK and elsewhere that are of a better standard.

Ibis is a value for money no thrills accommodation. The bed is comfortable and the shower is good with strong water flow. I would prefer a new towel though as the towel I got seemed like should be used to wash the floor with it is so thin and worn. The gym is adequate for both weight and cardio training. Bfast is ok but cheese is a no show. It is busy in the mornings so best to go early and avoid the queue.

I gave 3 stars but there a lot to unpack here. I e stayed here twice now, I recognize it’s hard to run a hotel and I see they had some upgrade from previous years but the whole look inside could better. The employees are super nice and respectful. I like that the restaurant is opened 24/7 and the free breast fast is as always a nice. The Airport shuttle pick was excellent

Worst hotel stay ever
Full of mould. Couldn’t breathe: checked out after the first night only because we checked in at 1am and couldn’t go anywhere else.

Check in was good. Staff was courteous and easily located my detail since i booked online. Bathroom was in a bad state of repairs with sealants gone grey and requiring changing

I don't have good memories of my stay in this hotel. The rooms are not very clean, the building not very well maintained. But the worst thing is the staff at the reception desk and at the restaurant who don't have the attitude that their function requires. Terrible

It's all about money, money, money for the management of this hotel. Did not provided shuttle as expected and no credit was given. Requested extended checkout refused only 1 hour given in a please when there's no one waiting to occupied the room. Bathroom flooded had to move me 2 am to another room

The rooms were too small for the cost. Staff were friendly however advertising shuttle pickup from Airport is false. No shuttle is available. I was stranded at the Airport till 12:30 am until I found a ride. No adjustments was given. It's all about money, money and money. No courtesy

Rooms are too small, it stat and end, no space to keep the bags, we told that all the rooms are non smoking but we found fews other people were having smoke in room and even in lobby and we told hotel person but they didn't react or response, even in the restaurant some Indian foods was mention but when we order, simple get the reply sorry today we dont have it and same reply for 5 days.
