We did ask to be in an updated modern room like seen online, but they just don`t have any - they were quick to blame Expedia, and were very unhelpful. The family room was very clean and spacious do a group of 3. The staff are very kind and the daily housekeeping is great as well. The only con is that with the curtains closed, the room can be dark as there is not a big main light, just smaller lamps on the sides of the bed
