"While it was my first visit to El Chalten, I could just sense that Destino Sur is the best hotel in town. The entire hotel provided an excellent ambiance mixing both classic and modern tastes. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Loved the wooden floor all around. Staff were most helpful answering all the questions and requests with courtesy and friendliness. Food at the restaurant was a top class. Sauna and jacuzzi provided relaxing after an intense hiking. Location was great close to all hiking trails. Will definitely go back."

"The staff bent over backwards to accommodate my gluten intolerance. We felt like we were visiting family as they saw us walking out to hike they stopped us and made sure we knew exactly where we were going, using maps and even gave us poles and headlamps. They have a very convenient option to have prepared food that you grab on your way out in the morning to take on the hike as well. Room service for the tired nights when we felt like we couldn't move after 14 mile days. The food was not cheap but it was good and worth the price when considering the convenience if you can afford it."

"This place was amazing!! The views from the apartment are unbeatable, the breakfast is brought to your room the night before, with a lot of options including eggs for you to cook if you want to. Would definitely recommend it and will stay here again if we ever go back to El Chalten"

"this was a great choice, the cabin was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed from the coffee maker AND the coffee, to the spacious upstairs. andrea who was at the desk gave us a whole rundown on the town and the trails, googling the weather forecast for us to help us plan what day to do what trail. she gave us info on what restaurants and markets were open (we went in the winter when most things are shuttered). she also gave us a later checkout which was really helpful. all in all, it was a great stay, i would highly recommend."
