"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "Kompletter Scam wir haben bezahlt und uns eigentch auf ein entspanntes Wochenende gefreut, haben jedoch keinen Code oder allgemein eine Rückmeldung des Vermieters bekommen. Konnten so also als wir vor der Wohnung standen erstmal mit dem support telefonieren, und uns dann ein Hotel suchen!"

"Das Haus ist grosszügig, sinnvoll eingerichtet und zudem noch sehr geschmackvoll. Der Empfang sehr nett. Fragen werden prompt beantwortet. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, wirklich eine komplette Kücheneinrichtung vorhanden. Viel Platz im Haus, schöner Garten. Sehr zu empfehlen! "

"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

Personne à notre arrivée. 2h plus tard nous réussissons à joindre le propriétaire en Asie via Whatsapp. Nous récupérons le code de la boîte à clef. Heureusement qu’à 20h un 15 août, le pizzaiolo était ouvert car vu l’état de la vaisselle nous n’aurions pas pu dîner. Le logement n’est absolument pas entretenu ! Liste non exhaustive : - vaisselle en nombre insuffisant - instruments de cuisine gras au possible - rideau de douche jaune...

"Ziemlich frisch renovierte Wohnung über 3 Etagen in der Altstadt. Die Wohnung ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist wiklich an alles gedacht. Alles ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Bequeme Betten, perfekte Sauberkeit. Sehr zu empfehlen ! "

"Clean, big house. We were there with 2 families. A great multi level garden with toys for the kids (inside and outside). Great patio to hang out with table and chairs. Garden is a very very big plus point. What would make the garden complete are a few movable lounge chairs. The host and property manager were very quick in responding to all our request. "The only thing I disliked was that there is no way to prepare a hot drink in the room. There is a vending machine in the corridor but I was unable to make it work. Also the information on Hotels.com did not make the out of hours check in process clear. Luckily I arrived while the receptionist was present. "

"This is a pleasant characterful property, with the sort of period charm we prefer rather than clincal modernity. The check-in was efficient and welcoming. Our top floor room was spacious and comfortable wth a good sofa as a bonus. The breakfast was continental, with no hot options as expected. The only thing that stopped this from being 5star is that, despite nice touches like an orange juicing machine and plum moelleux cake, there was less than average choice of standard items of prepared fruit and pastries. This was just a stopover for us on the way back to the ferry from Switzerland, so we didn't spend time in the town other than to view the river from the bridge, and enjoy the local cuisine and ambience at the Bonaventure in the main square."

"Don’t book this hotel, it may be a scam. I had a reservation, arrived before check in closed, no one there and their out of hours system did not recognise my booking. Tried the phone numbers they gave, no response, had to drive on and make a different booking somewhere else. Hotel no responding to hotels.com so delaying my refund. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!"

"I would love to give it 5 stars but due to the fact that the heat was not working was really bad specially when you are with an infant with you I literally had put his jacket on in the middle of the night because the room was freezing mind you we had a small heater on but in vain. I wish we had been informed of this situation before we arrived in order to weight our options or not. But besides that the receptionist was very nice and helpful to us during our stay."
