"Cozy little room in a beautiful setting overlooking the Upper Truckee river. The unit is small and in "like-new" condition, with a comfortable bed, but no room for a table or chair. There is outdoor seating and a hot tub. The owner, Aaron, was friendly and considerate and explained all the details about the rental unit and gave us helpful advice regarding places to eat. "
"Absolutely charming little inn tucked inside the Eldorado National Forest only a bit more than half hour past Lake Tahoe outside Carson City. You can’t imagine any setting much better! The room: pristine clean; modern, renovated, sheets soft as butter and a memory foam mattress you will think you are a baby in a cradle! Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pretty new hardwood like flooring - no gross carpet. Heat lamp and plenty of hot water for shower. Only negative for us - no restaurant so we went a mile down the road to a 76 gas station and picked up giant pack of all beef Kirkland hot dogs $9.99, buns, and breakfast snacks. Came back and cooked them on the grill outside watching the beautiful sunset, and hearing the rapids of the American River. Several areas for relaxing, outdoor fire pits with plenty of wood. Pet friendly. Definitely will come again. "
