We also had a chance to explore the area and took some great hikes (Hart Nature Preserve and Mt. Arab) and even took a day trip over to see Singer Castle! Definitely one of our family’s favorite vacations! "

This beautifully positioned property offered everything we needed in terms of the view, peacefulness, space, and overall accommodations. It was a perfect launch point for our daily trips to different parts of the lake to either chill, swim and do some fishing. "We have a very nice stay in Croghan as we were working in the area for a few days. The host was great to communicate with and was very helpful. It was a very small and safe town with a couple of places to eat. We weren't concerned about leaving equipment in the back of the truck at night. The lodgings were clean and basic. Overall a very nice stay, thank you! "

"The place was so serene and beautiful that it felt bad leaving the place. Spent 2 nights staying at Jane's place and felt so much calmer spending time there. Listening to the sound of leaves falling and the pond nearby helped calm the nerves and enjoy the view while sipping coffee in the morning. Highly recommend! "

"The cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our Fall stay for rest and relaxing. The views every morning and evening were gorgeous. We love that the cabin is pet friendly so our dogs could join us for the week. We used the hot tub almost every evening to watch the sunset which were amazing. The amenities were outstanding which included use of the pontoon boat. There are also a few trails that you can walk to without having to get into your car. Our favorite was the Trout Trail that took you to the Boy Scout bay area. Lake Placid was about 2 hours away so we took a day trip to there. Beautiful scenery. Overall, we felt at home during our stay and loved the area. So peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend."
