"very nice place fun"

"This place is elegant, and you feel the class as soon as you step thru the doors. Its nice they kept the historic hotel in such good shape for its age, along with newer amenities (rooms,restaurants/bars, shops, and even a spa). The only down side i found while staying was the trains that go by. They are loud, but its part of the reason the hotel was built back in 1875. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The port bar gave a nice ambiance of speakeasy era. Enjoyed a smoked old fashioned and delicious burger. Overall Id recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys history, or if your in town its definitely a place to check out."

"The one person on staff did her best to assist, but it was clear she had no one else working with her. The room quality wasn't great - the jacuzzi tub was broken (the jets were either not working or spraying EVERYWHERE. We asked for extra blankets and no one ever brought any. The hot tub jets were also broken. I would give a 2/10, and the two points are because the only person on staff did her best."

"We had a family (5 couples) get away. This house was excellent for that. Nice sizes rooms, plenty of seating for 10, plenty of dishes and silverware, ample cookware. The only thing we found lacking was storage containers or plastic food bags. A few of those would have been nice for leftovers, since we did most of our meals in the house.The Adler's had good instructions for running the appliances. We had to refer to them often. We did have trouble with the doors, however. Even my 2 Teck majors had a problem with the combination on the back door and the front door, we kept getting locked out, it just seemed to lock randomly.We did have a wonderful stay, the house was very comfortable, the hosts very accommodating. The weather could have been warmer so we could enjoy the outdoors more. Thank you Adler's."

"Great location, easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and lake. Ample space for 6 adults. The house was very clean. Backyard fire pit and sauna were a great addition!"
