Welcome to the family owned, family loved, newly updated Bighorn Cabin. This house has it all to provide a comfortable stay. Relax in the newly added Hot Tub, a four seater overlooking the reservoir and a perfect spot to enjoy the star filled night sky, on clear nights the milky way is visible. With a fully stocked kitchen, It offers the convenience of cooking, and a large 8-person table to enjoy your meals at while gazing over the serene Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir. With two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, you and your guests are sure to be comfortable. Your furry friends are also welcome at no extra charge. There are fishing poles available for use and a net for that “big one.”

The Surrounding Area:
The property is overlooking beautiful Elevennmile Canyon Reservoir and borders Pike National Forest. Within 500ft walking distance of Eleven Mile State Park, it’s very convenient, with a visitor’s center, playground, and a marina, you’ll be sure to find something that interests you. A hidden gem in the small “Elevenmile Village” with just a few neighbors, a friendly, safe community. Relax on the porch, enjoy the scenery, the wildlife, and the true serenity. Famous Colorado fishing at the Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir that is within walking distance (less than 0.5 miles) and Colorado’s finest fly fishing at the “Dream Steam” just miles down the road, paddleboarding, fishing equipment at the general store, kayak and boat rentals at the marina, hiking in the cove and stargazing at night brings endless opportunities for outdoor lovers. Ample parking in front of the house, enough to accommodate up to 4 vehicles.

Interior:
Recently Renovated, newly updated, a bright clean, open floor plan to truly relax in. All new appliances are available including a fridge, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher and full-size washer and dryer. Plenty of small appliances for your convience, a coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, hand mixer, food processor, crockpot, rice cooker, and popcorn maker. The kitchen is even stocked with spices, salt and pepper, general condiments, coffee, and filters for your convenience. The first room has a brand-new beautiful king bed. The second room has a brand-new beautiful queen bed. Both equipped with drawers underneath for clothing storage. The bathroom was just recently completely renovated, new bathtub, amazing shower fixtures, and heat fan for comfort. In the living room you will find the exquisite wood burning stove centerpiece, surrounded by an automatic leather corner couch and a sleeper sofa for extra friends and children. The Bighorn Cabin will be sure to charm you and create a lasting memory for your entire group.

Guest Access:
Guests have complete access to the entire house and surrounding property. We live off site and are available 24 hours should you have any access problems, or any issues during your stay. I am 100% available in person for any emergency. I am also available over text message for questions and concerns throughout your entire rental experience. We truly care that you have a 5-star, forever memorable vacation rental experience.

Other:
Cell Phone service can be spotty, but there is "Starlink" Wi-fi at the house, which you will receive a password for upon booking.

Cable TV is included and there is a TV in the main bedroom and a TV in the living area.

Boardgames, playing cards and books are available for use.

The Eleven Mile General Store is across the street and a short walk, here you can find any forgotten supplies, firewood, and fishing gear.
