"We enjoyed a Thanksgiving getaway at the property and it was lovely. The home is beautifully designed and was perfect for our family of four with room to spare. We enjoyed the fire pit, canoeing, sauna, and used the lake as a cold plunge. Indoors was cozy and welcoming with a bright beautiful kitchen, scenic eating and lounging areas, and games area downstairs. We look forward to returning in the future! "

"Great cottage, with a mix of large wood beams with modern touches. Very comfortable and spacious. Plenty of peaceful sitting spaces, bedrooms and ample bathrooms.Very well appointed with everything you’ll need. Overall, Excellent location, great dock, and lots of watercraft’s and toys. There is a road and rail tracks, so you will hear some of it. But, it’s brief and not loud by the dock and water. Everyone really loved the cottage and we enjoyed our stay. We look forward to booking again. "

"This property is perfect for large groups. The house is very large with five bedrooms (the listing said four). There are also multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas so people dont feel on top of each other. The beach and dock are perfect for accessing the water which is sandy and shallow on entry and there are lots of watercraft to take out. The grounds are large and feel private even though there are other cottages nearby. The property is easy to get to from the highway and the little town of Mactier is a short drive with a great grocery store, hardware store and LCBO. We cooked a lot and the kitchen and BBQ were great. The property manager was very responsive and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend the property."
