"Staff needs some training in hospitality management. Didn't seem staff was well trained. Took too long to check in and staff didn't have answers to basic questions. Also, restaurant service was very slow. number of servicers for the number of tables was not satisfactory. Dinner took 30 minutes to get cocktails, and food took too long to be served. Breakfast was even worse. First day it took at least 1 hour to be served and the second day the cook/chef didn't show so there was no breakfast available - which is unacceptable for what is considered a high-end hotel. When I logged a complaint with the front desk, I was told that the restaurant was separately run by a third party - and therefore they had no responsibility - unacceptable response."

"The room and bathroom were large. There was a separate kitchen area which was very handy. If had been the summertime, we would have used the balcony with the outdoor table and chairs and liked that they were available. The bed was comfortable. The couch had tears on the arms and so did the chairs- they were all in poor condition. The fireplace was lovely. Unfortunately the hairdryer in the bathroom was not working and only blew cold air. All in all, I would still return here, but I would ask them to ensure the hair dryer was working and the furniture was not torn (we were actually surprised they would keep that furniture in a hotel room). No problems with the bed though, very comfortable."
