My family and I have vacationed in this area for decades and this is one of the best places we've stayed at. Owner was responsive. The location is idea. The view is spectacular and from the Master Bedroom you can hear the slow waves rolling in at night (summer). Ideal.

Started off a little shaky, but it ended up being a nice trip. Steps to the water right out your door. Kayaks on hand and we already booked another trip in September. Thank you!

Location, location, location. The beach is just outside the glass wall that lets you enjoy amazing sunsets. The beach area is sandy with vast walking areas. House is cozy and comfortable. Near great restaurants and wineries but far enough away to escape.

The cottage and location were perfect for the kind of quiet getaway we were hoping for. We managed to take advantage of the excellent hiking in the area, as well as the local wineries and dining options. We'd definitely consider returning to spend more time on the private section of beach when the weather is warm and the breezes gentle. Highly recommended!

The house is beautiful. It has everything you need in it. Beautifully furnished. Views are amazing. The children loved the sand area right in front of the house. Great location for our family yearly photos. I just wished they had blinds. Plan for sun protection if you stay in the living room in the afternoon.

The house and property were exactly as described and depicted. Absolutely lovely place with the perfect beachfront and back deck to grill out and enjoy sunsets. Could not be happier with our week we spent there. Our only regret was that we didn’t reserve 2 weeks. We truly didn’t want to leave. Thank you for sharing your property with us. It is truly paradise. We will be back.😁

We stayed over the 2023 new year and it was great! Winter in Michigan meant overcast skies that didn’t let us see the stars and take full advantage of the telescope; but it was great to spot ships and birds on the water in the daytime! (On a clear enough day you can see the lighthouse in the bay)
The fireplace was really nice, and the waves of lake Michigan are so relaxing. If it’s warm enough, you can have the patio doors open with the screens closed and it’s like you’re sitting on the beach on the couch.
All the amenities cam in handy and the property in general is very well kept. We had zeros issues during our stay.
If you’re looking for a nice trip to lake Michigan with some family and friends, you should check this spot out!

I stayed here with my parents (in their 60s), my two young kids, and my husband in July. The location - RIGHT on Lake Michigan and almost exactly halfway between Glen Arbor / Sleeping Bear Dunes and Sutton's Bay - is PERFECT. The view is absolutely gorgeous, and the sunsets alone are almost worth the price.
The house itself is simple, but nice. The three bedrooms were perfect for the six of us, and the kitchen was well-stocked. I did not realize until right before check-in that there is no air-conditioning in the home; which, is not uncommon for the area, but it did make for some hot afternoons/evenings since we were there during a warmer streak and the entire back part of the house is glass / very little shade.
Rebecca, the host, was a great resource to us and met all of our needs. I definitely recommend this house, just be prepared for no a.c. :)

Beautiful home, beautiful lake views. No visible sunsets or stars but that was a weather issue. Hiked Sleeping Bear dunes, visits to Traverse City and lots of other quaint towns still decorated for Christmas. Loved it all!Highly recommend, must be extraordinary in the summer months.

Even in the middle of winter, this is a very special escape. I've been coming up north with my family since I was a little girl. Now that we have a little girl of our own (9 mo.) we've outgrown my parents' home in Traverse City when we return for the holidays. We're very familiar with the area and knew exactly where we wanted to be. This cabin affords fantastic accessibility to Leland and Glen Arbor, two of our favorite small lake towns. Long walks on the beach are right outside the door - a must-do even if it's freezing! Views of towering dunes and the Manitous which are impossible to capture in the pictures. Also impossible to capture how clean the cabin is!! Northwoods places can be a little "spidery" which I can't say is my favorite... not here. Not a speck of dust to be seen, let alone 8-legged friends :) This is a place I can imagine returning to season after season and year after year. Thank you for sharing it with us!

The location and views are amazing! I gave this cottage 3 starts because they canceled our first night at the last minute. They told us is was a water issue but the cleaning crew let us know someone had just checked out. When I arrived the cottage was pretty dirty and unorganized. They had toilet brush's and paint next to the food in the pantry and the kitchen was not well equipped. We normally like to cook together as a family, but decided to dine out all week because the kitchen wasn't very clean and not easy to navigate.
