"First the owners were very responsive in answering some questions we had before booking, and in making us feel welcomed. The location was convenient to get into TC or anywhere on the peninsula. The home looks just like in the pictures and is very tidy. Cozy living room, comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of seating areas inside and out. Grandma’s home was perfect for our group of six. We had a fantastic stay!"

"We planned a trip to the UP and on our way back to OH we stayed at this beautiful new home just outside of Traverse. The location was perfect for visiting Traverse and Sleeping Bear Dunes. "The view of the lake was so relaxing. The Cabin is definitely old. But it could have been cleaner. There were spider webs inside by the fireplace, dust and dirt under the furniture. And on the small porch the table and chairs were dirty as was the grill. Also when the 1st person would take a shower they ran out of hot water so the next person had to wait for it to regenerate. But we stayed there to be right on the lake and it was only for 3 nights so we managed. The land was great just the cabin...

"Great piece of property. We loved our stay and everything was very nice. Size, space and location were perfect. Just a few housekeeping notes. The appliances need fixing. The door on the stove does not stay closed. Someone must have stood or sat on the door. So sad when people don't respect other people's property. You are not able to use the oven without holding the door shut the whole time. The Refrigerator and freezer doors refuse to stay closed, resulting in the compressor running constantly...

"This property was home to our group of 8 golfers this past weekend. All of the guys really enjoyed the setting. Fishing from the dock. Paddling the kayaks on the Crystal River. "Loved this property. Comfortable, roomy, perfectly equipped home with million dollar views of sparkling aquamarine Torch Lake. "Very nice and roomy studio apartment style place. Kitchen and bath separate from bedroom. Nice location only a few minutes from downtown. Only complaint is there are two units in the building and the sound travels through the walls very easily. Also, the other unit is not a studio and it utililizes the upstairs, above the bedroom. Every footstep and floorboard creak can be heard. Other than that, great place!"

"The cottage looks exactly like the photos. It is small but very cute on the inside. We loved the screened in porch and the short walk to the beach that is on the property. It was very clean upon arrival. It probably could use some updates but we loved that there was a grill for the cottage and chairs to be outside."
