Fairway Villa 1304 at Rumbling Bald

One of the best locations in Rumbling Bald, this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Condo sleeps 8 and is convenient to everything! Flat screen TV's in the living room and both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully-equipped with electric range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. Washer and dryer. High-speed DSL internet. The vaulted great room features a comfortable sleeper sofa, recliner, and TV with DVD player. Nice open floor plan with centrally located dining table and chairs. Tastefully decorated. The deck is the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine, watch golfers on the first fairway of Bald Mountain Golf Course, and enjoy views of the rocky face peaks of majestic Rumbling Bald Mountain in the background. There is also a covered front porch with charis for enjoying peaceful evenings. 

There are two spacious bedrooms. One features two Queen size beds, large dresser, futon, TV, a small balcony, and a full bath with tub/shower. The other has two Queen size beds, a futon, large dresser, armchair, TV, and private bath with tub/shower. This one-floor condo has heating and air conditioning, is located near the common area on Bald Mountain Lake, providing you access to picnic tables, charcoal grills, a fishing pier.  This unit is also within a short walking distance of restaurants, recreational facilities, miniature golf, Wellness Center, spa, and private beach. 

CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation. NO refunds will be given for early departures or unused portions of packages.
HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES: There is a one-two day starter supply of items such as coffee packets, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent (where appropriate), shampoo, and soap that has been supplied for your vacation rental. All towels, sheets, and linens are provided for the allowed occupancy number of each unit.  There is no housekeeping service provided during your stay. If you run out of any starter supplies, you many purchase these at Apple Valley Market or Ingles Grocery.

Memorial Day weekend

We love Rumbling Bald Resort. There is a ton to do there with kids (indoor/outdoor pool, miniature golf, beach). The unit was nice and the description/photos were accurate. The location was easy to get to inside the resort. We did not get starter samples of soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs, etc even though the description said we would. When I called security to ask for some (the number we were given to call) no one would ever answer the phone (despite multiple attempts). Only other real complaint is the washing machine did not work in the unit, and I never got a response when I reached out about it. But overall the unit was nice, comfortable, in a good location and we would stay there again.
