"This was a great place if you need lots of room to sleep. As a family of 6 we spend a lot of time out and about on vacations and this place was wonderful to come back to and crash. The kitchen had everything you could need to make meals from a crock pot and air fryer to and ice maker in the freezer. Best VRBO kitchen thoughtfulness I’ve had. The main family area had a nice big sofa sectional that we could all get on for a movie night. Both bathrooms had ample space. While we happened to visit during an extreme heat wave even for MI, the mobile air conditioning units worked pretty well for keeping the main area bareable. Off the beaten path so no traffic noise, but not too far from town that you couldn’t get what you need in 10 minutes. Lots of bugs outside but that’s to be expected. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"This was an amazing trip, unfortunately due to a family emergency we had to cut it short. We are trying to work the insurance part of the package we purchased and will let you know how that goes once it is all said and done. All that aside, it was amazing."

"A True Piece of Heaven! We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Reading the welcome book and learning that this home was a true labor of love built and remodeled for the hosts' mother made our time here feel even more meaningful. You can absolutely feel the warmth, history, and decades of love in every corner—it has the coziest, most comforting "grandma's house" feel.The home was incredibly clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A huge bonus: the kids slept amazingly every single night, which any parent or guardian knows is a vacation miracle! Thank you to Gordon, Nancy, and Bryan for sharing your treasured family home so that others can make their own special memories here. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it!"

"This was an amazing place. The lake is beautiful and so peaceful. It was perfect for our group with kids and young grandkids. The porch on the back with table and comfy furniture was great for sitting in evenings. Loved the large windows looking out to the lake. The lake was great for fishing and so quiet there were no worries with taking our young kids out on kayaks. Sleeping arrangements very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The yard area was big enough for them to run around in and the lake was shallow for quite awhile so playing at lake edge was great. It is not a sand area by lake but the kids didn't care about that at all. Was great to just hop in a kayak go fish and return. The little loved taking their small kayaks out just past the dock and back alone, a first for them. The little circle drive and quiet drive back to house was perfect for bike riding with the grandkids. There are quiet dirt roads for adult bike riding. The yard has plenty of shade but also sunny areas if want to soak up sun on shore. We would definitely do this again! None of the kids wanted to leave. Everything was clean and host super friendly. If we had any questions they responded quickly and were super helpful"

"Pat was very attentive to messages and we loved staying in her rental. With 2 adults & 2 elementary aged children, there was more than enough room. Having 2 full bathrooms was awesome. The home is simple but Very cozy, comfortable beds, plenty of household necessities. We enjoyed having our meals in the cute breakfast nook. We thoroughly enjoyed paddle boating down to the swimming hole and fishing as well. Lots of different birds, squirrels, and geese(we came up from Florida to visit our son & family so I was pretty excited about all the different wild life) which was awesome to see as we had our coffee on the back porch every morning and also enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Freddie’s grocery & gas & dollar store are right down the road which was very convenient. There is also a fantastic coffee shop and sports bar/restaurant in town as well. Our son took us to a state park about 40 min from here that had some beautiful waterfalls. We also visited some Amish stores which are about 30 min away and also took the kids go carting and putput golfing. Then found a restaurant near by with a beautiful lake view where we enjoyed lunch on the back deck. Absolutely love the slow pace here in Atlanta and everyone is so friendly. Thank you again Pat for your hospitality."
